  • Publication number: 20240139618
Abstract: A handgun simulation assembly that mates a virtual reality (VR) controller having a trigger finger button with a handgun grip and trigger in order to better simulate the feel of a typical handgun for a VR environment. The handgun simulation assembly includes a handgun body with a trigger translation subassembly for translating the horizontal motion of the trigger blade pull to a vertical translational action to depress the trigger finger button of the VR controller. A tensioning mechanism is incorporated in the trigger translation subassembly to simulate the feel of trigger resistance that is found in a physical handgun. By mating commercially available VR controllers with realistic handgun grips and triggers, users of the handgun simulation assembly are provided with a more realistic handgun experience when in a VR environment.

  • Publication number: 20240139619
Abstract: A handgun simulation assembly that mates a virtual reality (VR) controller having a trigger finger button with a handgun grip and trigger in order to better simulate the feel of a typical handgun for a VR environment. The handgun simulation assembly includes a handgun body with a mating cradle that is designed to receive and hold a VR controller. The mating cradle has an engaged position where the VR controller is affixed to the handgun body and an unengaged position where the VR controller is released. When the mating cradle is in the engaged position, the VR controller can be oriented such that the trigger finger button is positioned downward, and the control pad is positioned rearward and facing the user. The mating cradle allows various subassemblies to access the buttons on the VR controller to provide a more realistic handgun experience when in a VR environment.

  • Publication number: 20240139620
Abstract: A handgun simulation assembly that mates a virtual reality (VR) controller having a trigger finger button with a handgun grip and trigger in order to better simulate the feel of a typical handgun for a VR environment. The handgun simulation assembly includes a handgun body with a magazine release subassembly for transferring the depression of a magazine release button on the handgun grip to a translational action to depress the side button of the VR controller. Depressing the magazine release button can also cause a magazine weight suspended inside the handgun grip to at least partially drop downward in the handgun grip to simulate an actual magazine drop. By mating commercially available VR controllers with realistic handgun grips and triggers, users of the handgun simulation assembly are provided with a more realistic handgun experience when in a VR environment.

  • Publication number: 20240143748
Abstract: Virtual machine images may be constantly scanned using background process, to identify current and evolving security risks, such as by optimizing the image scanning a last-in, first-out (LIFO) stack to prioritize most relevant images. Older and/or non-relevant image are removed from the scanning process and removed from use. Virtual machines image prioritization is based on each virtual machine image's current and/or potential usage requirement, where the LIFO stack prioritizes the scanning order. Newly created virtual machine images and/or newly re-activated virtual machine images are placed onto a provisioning queue (first-in, first out) before activation. The virtual machine images active within a host computing environment are processed via a reconciliation process to scan for indications of security vulnerabilities and/or threats to network security. Obsolete or otherwise irrelevant virtual machine images are removed from use via a repository synchronization process.

  • Publication number: 20240122485
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments describe techniques for physiological analysis. The physiological analysis is based on the use of a wearable sensor array. A plurality of sensors and conductors is coupled to a compression garment, where the compression garment has stretchable portions that stretch, e.g., in a single dimension. The garment can include a shirt, a sports bra, or a vest. Associated on-board electronics are mounted to at least one of the compression garment and the hub and electrically connected to the hub and generate a physiological profile, based on at least one output from each of the sensors. At least one aspect of the physiological profile is communicated to a processor configured to analyze the at least one aspect and generate an assessment based on the analysis.

  • Publication number: 20240111644
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for a proactive monitoring-container switching system is provided. The system may include a server cluster. The system may proactively monitor the servers within the cluster to determine if one or more servers within the cluster are showing weaknesses. Upon identifying the weaknesses, the system may identify an available server within the cluster and copy the contents of the weakened server to the available server. The system may then switch the DNS pointer from the weakened server to the available server. Switching the DNS pointer may switch any users and/or applications from the weakened server to the available server with minimal disruption. The synchronizing between servers may maintain the health of the server cluster.

  • Patent number: 11947513
Abstract: Methods and apparatus consistent with the invention provide the ability to organize, index, search, and present time series data based on searches. Time series data are sequences of time stamped records occurring in one or more usually continuous streams, representing some type of activity. In one embodiment, time series data is stored as discrete events time stamps. A search is received and relevant event information is retrieved based in whole or in part on the time stamp, a keyword indexing mechanism, or statistical indices calculated at the time of the search.

  • Patent number: 11900342
Abstract: A computer-implemented control system and method for data allocating of a plurality of sharing database files having share amounts based on a plurality of requests from a plurality of receiving devices of a direct sharing network and method for displaying and initiating transfer according to the allocating component. A display device and user input device displays sending elements, receiving elements, and share components in a location-specific manner. The allocating component determines the allocating of shares between the plurality of user sending devices to the plurality of user receiving devices. Allocating may proceed in an iterative process using multiple steps, over different time frames, for increasing the speed of sharing through the direct sharing network.
