  • Patent number: 10926913
Abstract: A vented tri-fold container includes a base, a lid, a divider, two hinges, and at least one vent. The tri-fold container may be configured to be vertically stackable in the open configuration and also when closed. When closed, heat and/or moisture may be vented from the containers even when multiple containers are stacked together. The lid and the divider of the vented tri-fold container may cooperate to form a moisture capture area within the container when the tri-fold container is closed.

  • Patent number: 10894635
Abstract: A tamper-evident container includes a base and a lid. A base extension and a lid extension are connected to a hinge to join the base and the lid together in a closed, pre-use configuration. A tab extends from either the lid extension or the base extension in a direction away from the lid and the base such that the tab extends beyond the hinge The tab is joined to one of the extensions via weakened regions that can be torn when the tab is pulled to indicate that the container has been tampered with or opened.

  • Publication number: 20140138383
Abstract: A tamper-evident container can include a base and a lid. Each of the base and the lid can include a flange having a free edge that defines at least a portion of an outermost perimeter of the base or lid, respectively. The lid can include a tab that has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface and a weakened region that borders a portion of the tab. When the lid is coupled to the base in a closed pre-use configuration, the lower surface of the tab is accessible from a lateral side of the container. The tab can be separated from a neighboring portion of the lid flange along the weakened region yet remain coupled with the lid and assist in uncoupling the lid from the base.

  • Patent number: 8322553
Abstract: A container can include a base, a lid, and one or more vents. The lid can be removed from the base and can be reattached to the base. Moreover, when the lid is attached to the base, it can permit self-venting of the container. Pressure within the container can cause the lid to move relative to the base so as to open the vents while the lid remains coupled with the base.
