  • Publication number: 20250142344
Abstract: Secure device location sharing may be provided. Over a secured link, an indication that a peer-to-peer device desires Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) based location sharing may be received. Then, from the peer-to-peer device over the secured link, an identity provider (IdP) may be received for the peer-to-peer device. Next, validation of the peer-to-peer device may be requested from the IdP. From the IdP in response to requesting validation of the peer-to-peer device from the IdP, authentication for the peer-to-peer device and an indication that the peer-to-peer device needs AFC based location sharing may be received. An indication that the peer-to-peer device is approved for AFC based location sharing may then be sent to the peer-to-peer device over the secured link.

  • Publication number: 20250142325
Abstract: In some embodiments, based on a wireless signal of a mobile device (e.g., obtained by a local device) the mobile device and a first authentication capability of the mobile device may be detected. Based on the detection of the mobile device, the mobile device may present access initiation options on a user interface of the mobile device. Based on a selection of a first option of the access initiation options via the user interface to initiate an access request for an access operation with the local device, an authentication request may be generated, where the authentication request is associated with the first authentication capability and with a first authentication tier. For example, the authentication request may be generated based on (i) the first authentication capability being detected as an authentication capability of the mobile device and (ii) the first authentication tier corresponding to an access amount of the access request.

  • Publication number: 20250135087
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a surgical console, a surgical cassette, and a method for utilizing an image sensor to acquire grayscale image(s) and an embedded microcontroller to then process the image(s) to decode the barcode and/or determine the current level of fluid within the surgical cassette. The image sensor is utilized to detect external light that comes into the field of view of the image sensor. A software algorithm stored within a microcontroller in the surgical console determines whether the potential is high for external light interference. If there is a high potential for external light interference, an advisory or alarm is generated to warn the user to remove the external light source or to turn the console away from the external light source. Once the user has removed the external light and then cleared the advisory, normal console operations and functions can resume.
