  • Patent number: 12289398
Abstract: A method and protocol for triple-blind identity mapping that sufficiently address the need to reduce accidental or nefarious attempts to re-identify the underlying identities pseudonymized by current hashing methods are disclosed. The system abates the privacy exposure risk derived from the simple exchange of hashed information, because the referenced actors do not come into possession of the input values required to produce a repeatable function.

  • Patent number: 12287170
Abstract: Improvements in a projectile launcher with a two-part bolt is disclosed. The two-part bolt has a forward bolt that moves and locates the projectile from the magazine to the breach. The ball is maintained in the breach until pressurized air pushes the projective out of the launcher. A ball holder is biased by a spring and when the bolt is moved, the bolt will lift the ball holder and blocks loading of a second projectile. An adjustable barrel detent alters pressure on top of the projectile to create backspin. The two bolt parts forms a piston to drive the projectile forward. A spring between the forward bolt and the rear bolt to maintains an extended biased location between the two bolt components. Travel between the two bolt elements if maintained by a pin that is retained in the rear bolt with a pin keeper spring.

Abstract: Dental matrix band devices including a housing with a band, a tensioning mechanism for the band with the control for the tensioning mechanism controllable by a control knob external to the housing, and at least one deflector pushbutton. The deflector pushbutton(s) applies pressure on an upper or lower portion of the band causing the geometry of the band to change. The resulting band geometry forms a conical loop better matching the configuration of a tooth. In one embodiment two deflector pushbuttons are provided and positioned to apply pressure on the upper or lower portion of the band depending on which deflector pushbutton is depressed in the housing. In another embodiment a single deflector pushbutton unit is provided with a pushbutton at each end.

  • Patent number: 12287763
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and storage server computing device that stores an identifier for a file system block evicted from a buffer cache in an entry in a table. The file system block is inserted into a victim cache hosted by an ephemeral block-level storage device by invoking a function provided by an application programming interface (API). The API exposes the ephemeral block-level storage device to a virtual storage appliance via an operating system of the storage server computing device. The entry in the table is updated to include location(s) on the ephemeral block-level storage device at which one or more portions of the file system block are stored, the location(s) returned in response to the function invocation. By this technology, performance of the virtual storage appliance is significantly improved, resulting in lower latency for client devices requesting data in a cloud storage environment.

  • Publication number: 20250133446
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for managing data transmission within a cellular network. A base station detects the attachment of a Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) gateway. Upon detection, the base station determines a traffic cap for the FWA gateway based on this attachment. The base station then generates a normalized data rate for the FWA gateway by weighting its achieved data rate. Subsequently, the fairness criteria of a Radio Access Network (RAN) scheduler are adjusted based on this normalized data rate. This methodology ensures a balanced and efficient allocation of resources within the network.

  • Publication number: 20250133369
Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that can leverage network equipment (e.g., broadband provider equipment, cellular provider equipment) in order to provide enhanced guidance to a target location. This enhanced guidance can supplement existing mapping or navigation equipment. Such can be advantageous for public safety answering point entities and first responder entities as well as, potentially, for service technicians or delivery. When an entity (e.g., first responder) is dispatched to a particular location, an associated residential gateway (RG) or other device can be identified, and an associated SSID determined. This SSID can be provided to the entity seeking that particular location so that SSID scans can operate similar to a transponder or homing beacon. The SSID might also be configured specially for this purpose. Additionally, the state of a device attached to the RG can be altered to further aid in locating, such as blinking porch lights or audible indicia.
