  • Publication number: 20250131442
Abstract: A computing device receives a request to analyze a bank dispute case comprising one or more disputed transactions. For at least a first disputed transaction, for each of a plurality of data features, the computing device determines, based on details of the respective disputed transaction, a data feature value for the respective data feature. Based on the respective data feature value of each respective value, the computing device determines a denial probability and a approval probability for the respective disputed transaction. In response to receiving an indication of user input selecting the first disputed transaction, the computing device generates a graphical user interface comprising at least an indication of the denial probability for the first disputed transaction, an indication of the approval probability for the first disputed transaction, and at least one indication of an importance metric for a first data feature of the plurality of data features.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to apparatus, systems, and methods of using atomic hydrogen radicals with epitaxial deposition. In one aspect, nodular defects (e.g., nodules) are removed from epitaxial layers of substrate. In one implementation, a method of processing substrates includes selectively growing an epitaxial layer on one or more crystalline surfaces of a substrate. The epitaxial layer includes silicon. The method also includes etching the substrate to remove a plurality of nodules from one or more non-crystalline surfaces of the substrate. The etching includes exposing the substrate to atomic hydrogen radicals. The method also includes thermally annealing the epitaxial layer to an anneal temperature that is 600 degrees Celsius or higher.

  • Publication number: 20250132892
Abstract: Adaptive clock mechanisms for serial links utilizing a delay-chain-based edge generation circuit to generate a clock that is a faster (higher-frequency) version of an incoming digital clock. The base frequency of the link clock utilized by the line transmitters is determined by the (slower) clock utilized by the digital circuitry supplying data to the line transmitters. An edge generator that may be composed of only non-synchronous circuit elements multiplies the edges of the slower clock to generate the link clock and also a clock forwarded to the receiver at a phase offset from the link clock.

  • Patent number: 12284423
Abstract: According to one aspect, a DVR sends a user's contact information over a network to a third party. Upon determining that a television program or advertisement contains a special tag that is associated with a third party, the DVR displays, to the user, a prompt that invites the DVR user to allow the DVR to send the user's contact information to the third party. If the user gives permission for the DVR to send the contact information to the third party, then the DVR sends the contact information to the third party (e.g., over the Internet).

  • Patent number: 12284187
Abstract: A micropattern detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource is provided. The user provides image data in which they present a secondary computing device with a specially fabricated screen cover. The screen cover includes a plurality of micro-holes that collectively provide a unique micropattern. When the user adjusts a display setting, the micropattern, previously cloaked, becomes apparent as an arrangement of pinpoints of light. The system and method are configured to evaluate the image data to determine whether the micropattern is present. If a micropattern is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services for which they are authorized.

  • Patent number: 12282483
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for using a structured data database and for exchanging electronic files containing unstructured or partially structured data. A system stores first structured data in a database, wherein the structured data represents a property. The system generates an electronic file, including by (a) storing unstructured data in the electronic file, wherein the unstructured data causes a representation of the property to be rendered on a face of a document represented by the file and (b) storing an identifier in the electronic file indicating a location in the database at which the first structured data is stored. The file is transmitted outside the system. Upon receipt of a copy of the file, the system reads the identifier from the copy of the received file and accesses the database location indicated by the identifier read from the received file.
