  • Patent number: 12258113
Abstract: A marine vessel includes a hull, an operator station having an operator interface configured to receive a mode input and a lever position input, a left propulsion system, a right propulsion system, and a control module. Each of the propulsion systems includes an engine, a transmission, a troll valve configured to adjust clutch slip, a shaft, a shaft speed sensor configured to detect the speed of rotation of the shaft, and a propeller. The control module is configured to receive the mode input and the lever position input from the operator interface, receive signals from the left shaft sensor indicating a left shaft speed, receive signals from the right shaft sensor indicating a right shaft speed, determine if the vessel is operating in a trolling state, and determine if a sync mode is active, based on the mode input. If the sync mode is active and the vessel is in a trolling state, the speed of the left shaft and the right shaft are synchronized.

  • Patent number: 12259717
Abstract: In an industrial control system (ICS), latent vectors are generated to represent identity or behaviors of host devices coupled to the ICS. A computing system captures communications transmitted by a host device across a network associated with the ICS. A set of values are extracted from one or more respective fields in the communication, then applied to a trained neural network. Values of a first set of fields are applied at an input layer of the trained neural network, while values of a second set of fields are applied at an output layer of the neural network. Based on the application of the neural network to the values extracted from the communication, the computing system generates a latent vector.

  • Patent number: 12260458
Abstract: The technology detects undesirable data packets. Data packets are received from multiple sources at one or more packet switches in a data communications network. The one or more packet switches route the data packets to one or more intended destination computing nodes and also transmit a copy of all the data packets received in the data communications network to a network capture device. The network capture device processes the data packets, detects financial data packets, and transmits the detected financial data packets for analysis by a risk exposure computer system that performs automatic financial risk analysis based on the detected financial data packets.

  • Patent number: 12259994
Abstract: A consent block is a type of block that may be stored in a blockchain. Each consent block has an owner and may store an owner consent contract, i.e., a smart contract containing owner-specified access rules that determine who may access data assets that are stored in other blocks of the blockchain and owned by the same owner. The consent block may alternatively store a global consent contract containing global access rules that supersede owner-specified access rules. The consent block also stores a hash value determined from the consent contract and a previous hash value of the block immediately preceding the consent block. The consent contract and the position of the consent block in the blockchain are verifiable from the hash value. Each consent block, once added to the blockchain, becomes part of the immutable record of data stored in the blockchain, and therefore leaves an auditable trail.
