  • Publication number: 20250106188
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for cryptographically securing transmissions from senders to recipients using a network of validation units. The network of validation units receives a request for a transmission. Validation units in the network of validation units validate the transmission and cryptographically sign and transmit a message when they determine that the transmission is valid. When a threshold number of validation signatures are transmitted by the network of validation units, the transmission may be executed.

  • Publication number: 20250104336
Abstract: AR/VR display systems limit displaying content that exceeds an accommodation-vergence mismatch threshold, which may define a volume around the viewer. The volume may be subdivided into two or more zones, including an innermost loss-of-fusion zone (LoF) in which no content is displayed, and one or more outer AVM zones in which the displaying of content may be stopped, or clipped, under certain conditions. For example, content may be clipped if the viewer is verging within an AVM zone and if the content is displayed within the AVM zone for more than a threshold duration. A further possible condition for clipping content is that the user is verging on that content. In addition, the boundaries of the AVM zone and/or the acceptable amount of time that the content is displayed may vary depending upon the type of content being displayed, e.g., whether the content is user-locked content or in-world content.

  • Patent number: 12259694
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting and predicting the motion of objects within the surrounding environment of a system such as an autonomous vehicle. For example, an autonomous vehicle can obtain sensor data from a plurality of sensors comprising at least two different sensor modalities (e.g., RADAR, LIDAR, camera) and fused together to create a fused sensor sample. The fused sensor sample can then be provided as input to a machine learning model (e.g., a machine learning model for object detection and/or motion prediction). The machine learning model can have been trained by independently applying sensor dropout to the at least two different sensor modalities. Outputs received from the machine learning model in response to receipt of the fused sensor samples are characterized by improved generalization performance over multiple sensor modalities, thus yielding improved performance in detecting objects and predicting their future locations, as well as improved navigation performance.

  • Patent number: 12261631
Abstract: A system and method for deep learning using a large codeword model with homomorphically compressed and dyadically encrypted data is disclosed. The system preprocesses input data, applies homomorphic-dyadic compression and encryption, tokenizes the compressed data into sourceblocks, and assigns codewords using a codebook. These codewords are processed through a machine learning core, which can be either a conventional transformer-based architecture or a latent transformer core utilizing a variational autoencoder. The system enables secure operations on encrypted data, preserving privacy while allowing complex computations. The processed output is decrypted, decompressed, and translated to match the input modality. A neural upsampler may further enhance the output. The machine learning core is continuously trained using the processed data and additional training data, improving performance over time.

  • Patent number: 12259553
Abstract: An illuminator for illuminating a display panel includes a lightguide with an array of buried slanted bulk reflectors that out-couple portions of the light beam propagating in the lightguide through one of the lightguide surfaces. Polarization beam-splitting slanted surfaces may be used to provide polarized output. Such an illuminator may be used with a reflective display panel operating by polarization. The beam-splitting slanted surfaces operate as a polarizer, providing polarized illuminating light. The light reflected by the reflective panel may propagate back through the illuminator, and the polarization beam-splitting slanted surfaces may operate also as analyzer.
