  • Patent number: 7363681
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a surface in which cleaning solution is dispensed to the surface and substantially simultaneously extracted along with the dirt on the surface in a continuous operation is provided. The cleaning apparatus includes a base portion for movement along the surface and a handle pivotally connected to the base portion. A solution tank for supplying a flow of cleaning solution to the surface is removably mounted to one of the base portion and handle. A recovery tank is removably mounted to the handle. A suction nozzle is secured to the base portion. A suction source is located downstream of the recovery tank in fluid communication with the suction nozzle for generating suction to draw dirt and liquid through the suction nozzle and into the recovery tank. A suction conduit is fluidly connected between the recovery tank and the suction source.

  • Patent number: 5551560
Abstract: A storage container for removably holding a disc within a storage compartment of the container, wherein the information containing area of the disc is free of contact with the container. A plurality of support ribs are formed on a base of the container and have shelves parallel with the base for contacting a non information containing peripheral edge of the disc, to support the disc in a spaced relationship from the base. A post is formed with an undercut for releasably capturing an edge of the disc therein. An outwardly projecting tab is formed on an elongated panel of a double hinged panel assembly which pivotally mounts a closure lid on the base of the container. The tab clamps against the peripheral edge of the disc when the lid is closed to immovably secure the disc within the storage compartment, on a first pair of adjacent ribs and on a second pair of ribs located diametrically from the first pair of ribs.

  • Patent number: 5531399
Abstract: A tape reel comprising identical first and second one-piece members which are snap-fitted together to form the reel. Each of the members includes a circular flange and a semicircular hub section having inner and outer walls and an intervening web wall. A pair of elongated latching slots is formed in each of the web walls. A pair of upstanding latching projections are formed on each of the members and are located diametrically opposite of a respective latching slot. A pair of latching catches are formed on opposite inner and outer sides of each of the latching projections. When the inner catches are engaged in the latching slots of the opposite member, the members are joined whereby the flanges have a first spacing therebetween, and when the outer catches are engaged in the latching slots, the members are joined whereby the flanges have a second spacing therebetween smaller than the first spacing.
