The seat portion has a seat portion having an upper surface, and an elongated slot opened on the upper surface. The seatback is affixed with at least one beam that has an elongated shape. The beam has a distal end, and is assembled with a latch movable transversally relative to the beam. The seatback is attached to the seat portion with the beam received in the elongated slot, the distal end engaged under the upper surface, and the latch engaging through a sidewall of the elongated slot.

The passenger seat is dimensioned to be received by the upper surface of the base and includes four locking elements that are respectively positioned and configured for releasable engagement with a respective one of the four locking points of the base. The two first latches are assembled with the rails, and respectively protrude from the inner side surfaces of the two rails to engage with a base. The two second latches are assembled at positions adjacently opposite to the first latches, and respectively protrude from the outer side surfaces of the two rails to engage with a stroller frame. The release handle is operatively connected with the first and second latches at the two rails, and is operable to switch the first and second latches from a locking to unlocking state.

The latch element is movably assembled in the guide slot and includes at least a first stud, the latch element being operable to switch between a locked state where the first stud is engaged with one of the locking grooves to hold the handle in place, and an unlocked state where the first stud is disengaged from the locking grooves to allow rotation of the handle relative to the seat shell.
