  • Patent number: 7454867
Abstract: In a structure for supporting components of a wall, one lower profile section is shaped to form longitudinal recesses and an operating unit is associated with the lower profile section base, and removably coupled at top to at least one structural element. The operating unit has one foot, shaped to form at least one protrusion for coupling, when the operating unit is rotated about a vertical axis, with the longitudinal recesses by engagement at least of the protrusion with a matching portion of the recesses, thus forming a bayonet joint between the operating unit and the lower profile section.

  • Publication number: 20070068090
Abstract: In a prefabricated wall, a frame of the wall is formed by uprights and crossbars obtained from tubular bars. A coordinated connection system is aimed at removably fastening furniture elements to the frame using longitudinal undercut grooves made in the tubular bars. First and second clamp means for hanging furniture elements, such as shelves and wall hanging elements, engage with the undercut grooves arranged both in horizontal and vertical, and fasten the cantilevered supports to the tubular bars by screw tightening. The cantilevered supports carry, position and fix the furniture elements. Also first and second multiple joining means for bearing furniture elements, such as desk tops, or structural elements, such as support feet of the wall, engage with the undercut grooves and fasten the bearing or structural furniture elements to the tubular bars by screw tightening.

  • Publication number: 20070062127
Abstract: A system is used for fastening articles, such as shelves and work tops, to uprights of a structure with at least a pair of panels, a first panel and a second panel, fastened to at least one upright, in a way such that vertical, facing edges of the panels are parted away. The system includes a protrusion made in the uprights and extending between the vertical facing edges of the panels. The protrusion has a section narrowing defining a first groove and a second groove. The sides of the articles have a female connector with projections forming respective extensions facing each other and engaging with the grooves, due to receiving the protrusion between the projections.

  • Publication number: 20060255225
Abstract: A clamp for connecting two elements, arranged at an angle to each other, in a support structure, consists of a first jaw and a second jaw hinged to each other at a respective first ends by joint means designed to enable the jaws to be attached to an internal portion of a head of a first element. The opposing jaw ends projecting from the head are shaped to form a clamp for coupling with corresponding retaining seats on the second element. A spreading screw acts on the jaws to move the jaws apart away from each other so that the jaws press on the retaining seats thereby forming a connection between the two elements.

  • Publication number: 20060179789
Abstract: In a component for supporting structures, a central body with a passing axial hole has on a front external wall and a rear external wall a first front seat and a first rear seat, accessible from outside and symmetrical with a first longitudinal symmetry plane of the body. Other external walls of the central body, namely a right external wall and a left external wall, have respectively a second right seat and a second left seat, accessible from the outside and symmetrical with respect to a second longitudinal symmetry plane extending at right angles to the first longitudinal symmetry plane of the central body.

  • Patent number: 7014384
Abstract: The connection system is for connecting structural elements of pieces of furniture, which structural elements include a plurality of support posts and a plurality of bars which are fastened to corresponding posts in accordance with predetermined geometrical configurations, to build a support structure for the above mentioned pieces of furniture. The connection system includes, for each post, a tube fastened to an end of the post, a plurality of connection annular elements for each connection between the bars and the posts, each one of the annular elements delimiting a hollow space provided for the coaxial coupling with a corresponding tube; and fasteners for fastening each bar to at least one connection annular element. The fasteners, in particular, include a side protrusion, for instance shaped like a dovetail, and a couple of mobile fastening clamps situated at the ends of the bar and designed for clamping the side protrusion for making a stable connection between the bar and the post.

  • Patent number: 6808334
Abstract: A connecting system for modular furniture structures includes an upright element with outer square cross-section giving the upright element four sides and four corners, featuring a trapezoidal or dovetail section longitudinal groove on each side. The longitudinal grooves gives the upright element longitudinal corners a quasi trapezoidal or dovetail shape. Trapezoidal connection small blocks are slidably inserted into the grooves and “C”-shaped clamps are slidably mounted along the longitudinal corners. Pin rods are fitted to both the trapezoidal connection small blocks and the “C”-shaped clamps by means of a threaded section forming also locking means for fixing the small blocks and clamps along the grooves and the corners. The pin rods have a circular groove all around and are introduced into bored small blocks fastened to furniture complementary structural elements and are fixed by means for threaded dowels set in engagement with the circular grooves.
