Patent number: 12293757Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for training a control system based on prior audio inputs. The disclosed systems and methods receive a non-lexical or interjectional audio input. State change indications are also received and stored by the system within a predefined period of time starting from the time the system received the audio input. The system then receives a subsequent audio input. If the audio inputs of both the audio input and the subsequent audio input match, and contextual information for the audio input and the subsequent audio input match, the system stores a match association, comprising a confidence factor, for the subsequent audio input to the audio input in the associative data structure. If the confidence factor is greater than a preconfigured confidence level, the system executes one or more functions based on stored state change indications.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2023Date of Patent: May 6, 2025Assignee: Adeia Guides Inc.Inventors: Bryan James, Manik Malhotra

Patent number: 12205162Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for providing financial services are described. The system and method include determining an account balance for a financial account. If the account balance is negative, notice of the negative balance is sent to the account holder in real time. After a predetermined period of time or grace period, and/or by a predetermined end time or cut-off date or time, it is determined whether the negative balance was cured. If the negative balance was not cured during the grace period, an overdraft fee is assessed to the financial account. If the negative balance was cured during the grace period, any assessed overdraft fee for the negative balance is rebated or reversed.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2020Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: HUNTINGTON BANCSHARES INCORPORATEDInventors: David Schamer, Lee Lemke, Jeff Kastelic, Bryan James Carson, Mark Richard Rhoades

Patent number: 12190470Abstract: Visualization within a spherical space is provided. The method comprises capturing a number of images from a common three-point coordinate capture location and creating a sphere of projected coordinates based on the capture location. Three-point coordinates of reference locations corresponding to the images are translated into spherical coordinates on the sphere. The spherical coordinates of the reference locations are translated into tour scene coordinates. The tour scene coordinates of the reference locations are then translated into equirectangular Cartesian coordinates. The images are displayed in a user interface according to the reference locations from the perspective of the capture location.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2022Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: Jeremiah Scott, Robert Stephen Kanematsu Baker, Bryan James Beretta, Michael Louis Bernardoni

Patent number: 12106556Abstract: A method and system architecture for designing a compressive sensing matrix for machine learning includes receiving an image associated with a classification task and; generating a sensing matrix. The sensing matrix includes an array of nonzero elements of the image. A prism array of prism elements is in communication with the sensing matrix. A row of values corresponding with an input angle of the prism array is mapped to a respective column corresponding with a detector. Then the detector detects light refracted at an output angle dictated by the physical shape of the prism element. A physical model of the detector is fabricated and generates a compressed representation of the image. A machine learning classification algorithm is applied to the compressed representation of the image and generates an optimized non-invertible final determination of the image.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2022Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLCInventors: Gabriel Carlisle Birch, Brian John Redman, Charles Fredrick LaCasse, IV, Amber Lynn Dagel, Meghan Anne Sahakian, Bryan James Kaehr, Tu-Thach Quach, Daniel Alvaro Calzada, Bryana Lynn Woo, Jaclynn Javonna Stubbs

Patent number: 12096234Abstract: The present embodiments relate to connecting a network device to a wireless access point in a network environment based on an association affinity between the network device and the wireless access device. A wireless access point in a network environment can receive a request for a first network device to connect to any wireless access point in the network environment that includes a signal strength metric. The wireless access point can determine whether the first network device corresponds with a prioritized wireless access point using weighted averages based on a historical derived proximity of the wireless access points in the network environment and a historical connectivity to wireless access points in the network environment. A connection prioritization action can be performed to connect the first network device with the prioritized wireless access point in the network environment based on the determination of whether the first network device corresponds with the prioritized wireless access point.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2021Date of Patent: September 17, 2024Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventor: Bryan James Phillippe
