  • Patent number: 11979273
Abstract: In one example, a server system interfaces with a plurality of remotely-situated client entities to provide data communications services. The system uses processing circuitry to access an archive of voice data indicative of transcribed audio conversations between a client station and another station participating via the data communications services. Archived voice data includes keywords associated with at least one intent or at least one topic of the transcribed audio conversations. The system identifies keywords and/or identified contexts in a message (e.g., text-based message) received by a text-based virtual assistant, and correlates the text-based message with at least one intent or at least one topic by matching keywords from the archive of digital voice data with the identified keywords from the text-based message. The system may automatically configure the virtual assistant associated with the remotely-situated client entity to address the received text-based message, based on the correlation.

Abstract: Exemplary aspects involve a data-communications apparatus or system communicate over a broadband network with a plurality of remotely-located data-communications circuits respectively associated with a plurality of remotely-situated client entities. The system includes data-communications platform (e.g., UC-CC) that processes incoming data-communication interactions including different types of digitally-represented communications among which are incoming call, and that is integrated with a memory circuit including a database of information sets. Each of the information sets includes experience data corresponding to past incoming data-communication interactions processed by the platform, and with aggregated and organized data based on data collected in previous incoming interactions.

  • Patent number: 11972652
Abstract: The secured storage receives an electronic device including but not limited to a tablet, smart phone, mobile computing device, or other computing device. The secured storage provides a charging system that charges the device. The system selectively charges the devices based upon identified rules. The lock of the secured storage secures the electronic device within the storage. The system maintains a log of the users who access the electronic devices. The system then control access by granting access to users and restricting access to users based upon usage history, behavior, or other criteria.

  • Patent number: 11951208
Abstract: Provided are low impact methods of creating concentrated water-in-oil and oil-in-water nanosized emulsions, effective therapeutic carriers for skin aging preparations. To achieve optimum multifunctional activity, ceramide and plant-based ceramides are selected to naturally mimic epidermal composition; and are made into evenly dispersed, small droplet, high-absorption skincare treatment emulsions. The water-in-oil emulsion is a highly stable, low-water ratio concentrate, of particular benefit to dry and aging skin types. The oil-in-water lipophilic emulsion maximizes lipid and nutrient release into the epidermis (stratum basale to stratum corneum). Lipophilic compositions are non-irritating and highly absorbable, resulting in superior skin health; specifically skin barrier keratinocyte, lipid and hydration improvements and aesthetic improvements, including skin smoothness and wrinkle reduction, while decreasing potential dermatitis and similar.

  • Publication number: 20230376051
Abstract: A well-based, groundwater delivery system provides a wireless control network that is used to report system performance via measured operational metrics. Such metrics facilitate monitoring of operational parameters associated with the well-based, groundwater delivery system and closed-loop control feedback to automatically implement measures to prevent damage. Sensors are used to measure volumes of water stored within the well-based, groundwater delivery system as well as water flow rates. Soft mounted sensors allow accurate measurements to be taken regardless of the mounting orientation of the sensor or the degree of plumb exhibited by water storage tanks of the well-based, groundwater delivery system. Automated status and control is established wirelessly via a base controller that may be accessed locally by a portable user device or accessed remotely via an external network.

  • Patent number: 10838464
Abstract: The housing provides layers of rigid material and cushioning around the components of a mobile electronic device, such as a tablet. The rigid material includes a positioning frame that positions the display, the battery, and the circuit board within the housing. Cushioning positioned exterior of the frame provides additional cushion around the components of the mobile electronic device. The housing partially encloses the components of the mobile electronic device and provides a viewing window for viewing the display. A support rib abuts a rear wall of the housing to increase the rigidity of the housing. Antimicrobial agents and/or fire-retardant agents added to the housing provide additional features to the housing.

  • Patent number: 10404846
Abstract: A communication system for a mobile computing device that provides for personal communication. A housing of the communication system provides a receiving aperture for accepting the mobile computing device. An upper wall and lower wall of the housing guide the mobile computing device into the housing towards an interior wall. An audio data transmission system enables communication between the mobile computing device with the audio input and the audio output. Insertion of the mobile computing device into the housing connects the mobile computing device with the communication system. Upon connection with the communication system, the mobile computing device outputs audio to the external audio output. The mobile computing device also receives audio captured by the audio input.

  • Patent number: 9917455
Abstract: The charging system charges electronic devices through the use of a charging base. Charging contacts within the charging base contact a charging adapter inserted into a port of the electronic device. The charging contacts of the charging base contact the charging contacts of the charging adapter to charge the device. A housing that partially encloses the electronic device limits the orientations in which the device can be inserted into the charging base. The housing promotes inserting the device into the charging base in a charging orientation that will charge the device.

  • Patent number: 9870521
Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for automatically cropping images taken by an electronic device in order to determine the identity of a product contained in the image are described herein. A number of different techniques may be applied to perform the automatic cropping, including a focus sweep technique in which a first image is analyzed for the presence of a human being and then a second image is taken in a plane closer to the camera than the first image. The two frames are analyzed and a resultant image is provided that avoids the regions in which the human being is present to focus on the product. In other embodiments, a motion vector calculation is made between two images in which an individual is holding a product. The motion vectors related to the human are removed and a bounding box is calculated to reduce the size of the image to include a higher percentage of the product, such that the product can be more easily identified.

  • Publication number: 20170313560
Abstract: A vehicle lift includes a hydraulic cylinder having a component that rotates as the cylinder lengthens and shortens. A sensor measures the rotation or rotational position of the rotating component, and the sensor's output is used by a controller to control the vehicle lift. In some embodiments, the vehicle lift includes a scissor or parallelogram mechanism, while others are column lifts. In some embodiments, the controller uses the sensor's output to manage the limits of travel of the vehicle lift, and in others, the controller uses it to coordinate lift operations with other lifts.

  • Patent number: 9796569
Abstract: An apparatus for lifting vehicles includes a runway, a base, an actuation assembly, a first armature assembly, a second armature assembly, and a third armature assembly. The runway is designed to vertically lift a vehicle from a lowered position to a raised position. The runway is connected to the third armature assembly. In turn, the third armature assembly is connected to the actuation assembly, which is pivotally fixed to the base. The first and second armature assemblies also connect the base with the third armature assembly. The actuation assembly is configured to lift the third armature assembly, which is guided by both the first armature assembly and second armature assembly. In response to the actuation assembly, the third armature assembly then forces the runway from the lowered position to the raised position, thereby lifting the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9726142
Abstract: A wave energy conversion system for harnessing wave energy in a body of water and converting the harnessed wave energy to pressurized fluid, and also a method of deploying such a wave energy conversion system. The wave energy conversion system comprises a unit including a buoyant structure responsive to wave motion, at least one pump and at least one tether adapted to be operably connected between the pump and a fixture below the unit, whereby movement of the buoyant structure relative to the fixture in response to wave motion converts harnessed energy to pressurized fluid. The unit is adapted to be deployed by moving the tether into coupling engagement with the fixture upon actuation of the pump in a manner causing movement of the tether into engagement with the fixture.
