  • Patent number: 11091864
Abstract: A sewn product making apparatus such as a sewing robot can be used to produce a variety of products over a broad range of sizes, shapes or materials. Various examples are provided related to the automation of sewing robots, and the making of sewn products. In one example, among others, a system can generate a product making path using a product construction file, and instruct a sewing device and fabric mover(s) to automatically sew the product based upon the product making path. The product making path can be modified when a deviation is detected, and the sewing adjusted based upon the modified product making path. • Publication number: 20210181820
Abstract: A processing unit manages temperature by correlating readings from a plurality of external temperature sensors to a skin temperature of the processing unit, wherein the correlation is based on characteristics of a computer chassis that is to include the processing unit. The processing unit is mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) or other substrate that is to be placed in a computer chassis. Each of a plurality of temperature sensors is placed at a different location of the PCB to provide temperature readings from a variety of locations of the PCB. A temperature controller of the processing unit receives temperature readings from the plurality of sensors and correlates the temperature readings with a skin temperature of the processing unit based on a plurality of correlation values.

  • Publication number: 20210182066
Abstract: An integrated coprocessor such as an accelerated processing unit (APU) generates commands for execution on a discrete coprocessor such as a discrete graphics processing unit (dGPU). Power distribution circuitry selectively provides power to the APU and the dGPU based on characteristics of workloads executing on the APU and the dGPU and based on a platform power limit that is shared by the APU and the dGPU. In some cases, the power distribution circuitry determines a first power provided to the APU and a second power provided to the dGPU. The power distribution circuitry increases the second power provided to the dGPU in response to a sum of the first and second powers being less than the platform power limit. In some cases, the power distribution circuitry modifies the power provided to the APU, the dGPU, or both in response to changes in temperatures measured by a set of sensors.

  • Patent number: 10906189
Abstract: Due to rapid advancement in computing technology of both hardware and software, the labor intensive sewing process has been transformed into a technology-intensive automated process. During an automated process, processing of a work piece can be visually monitored using a sensor system. Data gathered from the sensor system can be used to infer the condition and/or position of the work piece in the work area using, e.g., models of a sensor profile. Evaluation can be carried out before processing begins, during processing and/or after processing of the work piece. Examples of systems and methods are described that provide for initially and successively matching the model of the expected shape for a product work piece to a set of sensor readings of the work piece in order to determine the position of the work piece and support a variety of useful features.

  • Publication number: 20200347760
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining, using service component authenticity detection contained in a sensor module, whether an authorized or genuine service component element is installed in an automotive system are described. The authorized service component determination may be based on close-range communication technology such as radio frequency identification (“RFID”) technology. An antenna in the sensor module may read the tag information from installed service component elements in a nearby service component and send any detected information into a filtration monitoring system. The filtration monitoring system or a remote diagnostic system analyzes the returned data (or absence thereof) to determine if a genuine (i.e., authorized, OEM approved, etc.) service component element is installed or not.
