  • Patent number: 8782525
Abstract: Displaying physical signal routing of a system. A diagram of the system may be displayed. The system may include physical components connected via physical connections and logical components implemented on various ones of the physical components. The diagram may include a plurality of icons connected by wires. At least a first subset of the icons may represent logical elements of the system and wires between the first subset of icons may represent logical connections between corresponding logical elements. User input requesting signal routing information of the system may be received. In response, a signal route corresponding to a first logical connection between a first logical element and a second logical element may be visually indicated.

  • Publication number: 20130202344
Abstract: An expansion joint bracket retains an expansion joint board in a 5 concrete installation. The expansion joint bracket may include a base member having multiple nail holes for securing the bracket to the earth (or sand or gravel put down prior to pouring concrete there upon). First and second board support members may run perpendicular to the base and parallel to each other to hold the expansion joint board in place. Gussets, typically triangular shaped gussets, 10 extend from the board support members to the base member. The expansion joint brackets may be disposed every 12-24 inches on the expansion joint board and concrete may be poured over the expansion joint brackets, resulting in a quick and simple concrete installation.

  • Publication number: 20130031492
Abstract: A system and method for configuring objects in a system diagram to access interfaces of other objects are described. A first node and a second node may be displayed in the system diagram. The second node may implement one or more interfaces, where each interface includes one or more callable functions. An interface wire connecting the first node to the second node may be displayed in response to user input. The system may automatically configure the first node to access at least one of the one or more interfaces of the second node in response to displaying the interface wire.

  • Patent number: 8033020
Abstract: A marinating machine rotates a drum containing the food to be marinated. The drum is positioned on a pair of rotatable shafts only one of which is drivingly engaged to a motor rotating the drum. The drum is rotated by a drive wheel that is mounted on the rotating shaft. The drive wheel is locked for rotation with the shaft by a set screw in a threaded bore extending into the wheel at an angle with the axis of rotation of the wheel, and with the nearest portion of the bore spaced from the axis of rotation to allow the threads of the set screw to cut into the surface of the rotating shaft.

  • Patent number: 8018854
Abstract: A system and method for testing packet switch networks is provided. The method comprises establishing a first network path associated with a first device and a local device. The first network path includes at least a first router, a second router, and a data link layer switch. A first route and a second route along the first network path are established. The method further includes preventing any packets received from the first device via the first route from reaching the local device, allowing packets received via the second route to reach the local device, and directing packets sent by the local device to a test set using the second static route.

  • Patent number: 8009820
Abstract: A system manages the operations of an integrated communications provider. One aspect of the system is a work flow engine. The work flow engine decomposes the service model into sub-model components based upon whether crossing of plural networks is appropriate to provide requested telecommunication services and which service providers are available to provide service consistent with the location of the customer. The work flow engine also creates a telecommunications design from the sub-model components based on order rules of the service providers. The system automatically retrieves customer service records and preparing sales proposals based on those records. The system includes a gateway to incumbent local exchange carriers and trading partner service providers.

  • Patent number: 7290069
Abstract: A pattern may be written to an allocated section of host memory to track how much data has been received in the host memory from a direct memory access controller coupled to a First In, First Out memory. A driver may send the most recently written sample of data from the host memory to an application requesting sampled data. The driver may determine the amount of data written to the host memory by reading the allocated section of host memory and determining the size of a portion of memory, that previously had the pattern, that has been written over with data. The driver may determine if more data than a predetermined amount of data has been written to the host memory or is available to be written to the host memory, and if necessary, send an indication to the application.

  • Patent number: 7244061
Abstract: A marinating machine rotates a drum containing the food to be marinated. The drum is positioned on a pair of rotatable shafts only one of which is drivingly engaged to a motor rotating the drum. The pair of shafts is spaced far enough apart from each other such that the vector of force applied by the wall of the drum against the drive wheel is sufficient to ensure that the drum will rotate with the drive wheel. Within the drum is a pair of spaced apart paddles to agitate the food product being marinated. The two paddles are joined to each other by a compressible member, and the compressible member is compressed to allow insertion of the paddles into the drum. The compressible member applies sufficient force against the inner surface of the drum to cause the paddle assembly to rotate with the drum.
