  • Patent number: 11911323
Abstract: An electric wheelchair propulsion system for a wheelchair. The propulsion system has a first and a second torque transfer hub rotatably mounted to a respective first and second drive wheel of the wheelchair, and an elongated axle tube arranged between the first and second hubs. First and second motors are arranged within the axle tube extending from opposing ends thereof. First and second drive axles are insertable into bores of the first and second hubs respectively, and are operatively connected to the first and second motors respectively. Means are provided to control the actuation of the motors. Actuation of the motors drives a rotation thereof, transferring a torque to the drive axles. The drive axles in turn transfer a torque to the hubs, thereby rotating the drive wheels.

  • Patent number: 11888986
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to information masking. A computing platform may receive, from a user computing device, a request to access information that includes personal identifiable information (PII). The computing platform may retrieve source data comprising the PII and mask, within the source data and based on a data management policy, the PII. The computing platform may send the masked information in response to the request to access the information. The computing platform may receive a request to unmask the masked information and unmask the PII. The computing platform may log the request to unmask the masked information in an unmasking event log and send the unmasked PII in response to the request to unmask the masked information. The computing platform may apply a machine learning model to the unmasking event log to identify malicious events and trigger remediation actions based on identification of the malicious events.

  • Publication number: 20230380689
Abstract: Noncontact sensing of subject motion using Doppler radar within a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus transmits a band-pass filtered continuous wave radio signal at a microwave frequency and receives a band-pass filtered reflected radio signal. The subject motion is detected from the received band-pass filtered reflected radio signal using a quadrature radio receiver with a software defined radio implementing Doppler radar. A first antenna, used for transmission and reception, is connected to the quadrature radio using band-pass filters and an RF coupler. A second antenna, used for reception, is connected directly to the quadrature radio using band-pass filters. The antennas are positioned in a bore of the MRI apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11827324
Abstract: A trolling motor has a steering motor transmitting torque to a steering shaft, which is coupled to a lower propulsion unit such that rotation of the steering shaft rotates the propulsion unit about a steering axis. A controller is in signal communication with the steering motor. A foot pedal in signal communication with the controller has a foot pad pivotable about a pivot axis and sends electrical steering signals to the controller (and thus steering motor) in response to pivoting of the foot pad. A variable resistance device is coupled to the foot pedal and controllable to vary resistance to pivoting of the foot pad about the pivot axis based on a position, velocity, acceleration, and/or jerk of the steering shaft. Additionally or alternatively, the variable resistance device provides haptic feedback to a user via the foot pad to inform the user about information related to the trolling motor system.

  • Publication number: 20230367655
Abstract: A method is described. The method includes respectively adding respective identifiers of respective queues that provide packets to a CPU to a list in response to the respective queues being deemed quiet. The method includes, as a consequence of an interrupt having been generated in response to one of the respective queues having received a packet, removing the respective identifiers from the list and executing respective poll service handlers for the respective queues. The method includes disabling those of the respective poll service handlers and adding those of the respective identifiers back to the interrupt cause list for those of the respective queues that are again deemed quiet, while, continuing executing others of the respective poll service handlers for others of the respective queues that are not deemed quiet.

  • Publication number: 20230302483
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system and method for applying a wax coating to a workpiece during a strap-manufacturing process. A controller controls the flow of water and the flow of a wax solution from separate sources into a blender that blends the water and the wax solution into a blended solution. An applicator applies the blended solution to a workpiece that is then longitudinally slit and wound into coils of (waxed) strap. A sensor periodically analyzes the blended solution and sends signals to the controller, which determines the concentration of wax in the blended solution and causes a display device to display the concentration of wax in the blended solution to enable an operator to monitor the concentration of wax in the blended solution.

  • Patent number: 11763381
Abstract: Systems for dynamically detecting and controlling unauthorized activity are presented. In some examples, a request for a withdrawal may be received by a self-service kiosk. A plurality of bills may be transferred from a storage area to a dispensing device of the self-service kiosk. In some examples, the plurality of bills may be scanned to capture data associated with each bill. This data may be stored in a bill identification database. An error notification may be received by the self-service kiosk from a user. In response, bills within the self-service kiosk may be scanned to identify unique identifiers associated with the bills in the self-service kiosk. If the bills identified as dispensed are present, an error or malfunction has occurred and a user account may be credited. If the bills are not present, the activity may be identified as unauthorized activity and one or more mitigating actions may be executed.

  • Publication number: 20230284588
Abstract: A tray is adapted to be positioned at a lower side of an animal enclosure, such as a cage or a kennel for a dog, to provide a stable and supportive surface for the dog. The tray includes a base having a horizontal support surface with one or more sides. Each side includes an angled portion and an upright portion. The angled portion extends upward and outward from the support surface to the upright portion, and allows a connecting feature of the cage, such as a loop that protrudes into the interior of the cage to connect the sides of the cage to the lower side of the cage, to be at least partially positioned under and in contact with the angled portion to thereby provide stable angled support to the tray. The upper portion includes a hem that forms a rounded top edge.

  • Patent number: 11675798
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for how to select, suggest, and modify content, which is relevant to the user, on a user interface. The system does this by combining physiological data, location data, and historical data to create a multi-dimensional user state of the user, where at least one dimension is time. The system also identifies available content, ranks the available content based on the multi-dimensional user state, and transmits a user interface a suggestion for a top-ranked item within the ranked list of available content.
