  • Patent number: 10852172
Abstract: Doser for a container containing a substance. The doser includes a dosing member configured to be located at least partially inside a dispensing end of a container. The dosing member includes at least a bottom wall, a retaining wall and a retaining space of predetermined volume configured to retain a dispensable amount of said substance. When the doser is arranged on a container and the container dispenses the dispensable amount of the substance, the dosing member substantially prevents the substance contained in the container from either passing into the retaining space or being dispensed with the dispensable amount.

  • Patent number: 10845064
Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The HVAC system includes a sensor that detects a temperature of a heater of a heating component and emits a signal indicative of the temperature. A flow management device controls a flow of electricity or fuel from a power source to the heating component. A controller receives the signal from the sensor and operates the flow management device to block the flow of electricity or fuel to the heating component when the signal is indicative of the temperature being above a set point.

  • Publication number: 20200358264
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fuse bank design for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The disclosed stair-step design enables the positioning of electrical components of the fuse bank in a non-vertically aligned manner, which blocks the accumulation of heat in the upper electrical components as a result of convection heating from the lower components of the fuse bank during operation of the HVAC system. For example, a fuse bank is disclosed for an HVAC system that includes: a mounting surface; a first fuse block including a first fuse holder coupled to the mounting surface; a spacer coupled to the mounting surface vertically below the first fuse block; and a second fuse block including a second fuse holder coupled to the spacer, wherein the spacer offsets the second fuse block from the mounting surface of the fuse bank in a stair-step arrangement.

Abstract: A furnace of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a heat exchange tube configured to receive a working fluid from a burner and a modulating valve fluidly coupled to the burner. The modulating valve is configured to regulate an amount of fuel supplied to the burner to generate the working fluid. The furnace also includes a blower configured to draw the working fluid through the heat exchange tube, a motor drive configured to adjust a speed of the blower, and a controller configured to adjust a position of the modulating valve and to control the motor drive to adjust the speed of the blower based on a temperature of air discharged from the HVAC system.

  • Patent number: 10827250
Abstract: A headset in accordance with an embodiment of the present technology includes a headpiece, an earpiece, a yoke rotatably connected to the earpiece, and an arm extending between the yoke and the headpiece. The yoke at least partially defines a channel including a constriction at which a transverse cross-sectional area of the channel is non-circular. The arm includes a foot at least partially disposed within the channel. The foot is shaped to move through the constriction or be blocked from moving through the constriction depending on a rotational position of the arm relative to the yoke. The headset further includes a plug at least partially disposed within the channel. The plug restricts rotation of the arm relative to the yoke and thereby prevents movement of the foot out of the channel and corresponding separation of the arm from the yoke.

  • Publication number: 20200337533
Abstract: A method for imaging a patient's gastrointestinal tract including upper parts of stomach using a capsule camera system are disclosed. According to the method, the capsule camera is administered to a patient by swallowing the capsule camera through patient's mouth. For each target examination position selected from a set of examination positions: the patient positioning system is adjusted to a target positioner bed position associated with the target examination position with the patient on the positioner be. Adjusting patient positioning system comprises adjusting the positioner bed to tilt at a tilt angle, and wherein the set of examination positions comprises at least two different tilt angles; and the patient positioning system still is held at the target examination position for a pre-defined period of dwelling time to allow the capsule camera to capture stable pictures. Image data captured by the capsule camera are then collected.

  • Patent number: 10785428
Abstract: A method and apparatus for imaging a body lumen are disclosed. According to the method, an imaging apparatus is induced into the body lumen. Structured light from the imaging apparatus is projected into the body lumen. The structured light reflected from anatomical features in the body lumen is detected by the imaging apparatus. A first structured light image is generated from the detected structured light by the imaging apparatus. Non-structured light is emitted from the imaging apparatus into the body lumen. The non-structured light reflected from the anatomical features in the body lumen is detected by the imaging apparatus. A non-structured light image is generated from the detected non-structured light by the imaging apparatus. The frame period of the first structured light image is shorter than the frame period of the non-structured light image. In one embodiment, the imaging apparatus corresponds to a capsule endoscope.

  • Patent number: 10764613
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s) obtains a request, from a first client, to stream selected content, uploaded by a second client, on a streaming media platform. The processor(s) identifies a similarity between metadata associated with the selected content and metadata associated with relevant additional content uploaded to the streaming media platform, by a third client. The metadata associated with the selected content and the metadata associated with the relevant additional content describe elements in the selected content and the relevant additional content identified, based on the processor(s) performing a content analysis of the selected content and the relevant additional content. The processor(s) selects the relevant additional content to provide to the first client, with the selected content, based on the similarity. The processor(s) displays the relevant additional content with the selected content on a viewer on the first client.

  • Patent number: 10754630
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for selecting, at build time, a respective compiler and/or a respective set of compiler options for each section of code to be compiled such that the compiler/compiler options selected for each code section are optimized for that code section with respect to one or more metrics. Abstract syntax tree (AST) analysis and semantic analysis may be performed at build time for each section of code to identify the compiler/compiler options that produce compiled object code for that code section that maximizes or minimizes a desired metric. The metric according to which compiler/compiler option optimization is performed may be any suitable metric including, without limitation, performance, binary size, security, reliability, scalability, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 10752106
Abstract: Installation of a snorkel on a vehicle can be facilitated by slide-in attachment configurations. A slot can be defined in a vehicle body member (e.g., a fender). The slot includes an insertion portion and a retention portion. A width of the insertion portion is greater than a width of the retention portion. The snorkel has an inlet end portion and an outlet end portion. The outlet end portion can include a flange. The width of the flange is less than a width of the insertion portion but greater than the width of the retention portion. The outlet end portion can be-initially received in the insertion portion. The snorkel and/or the vehicle body member can be manipulated so that the outlet end portion moves into the retention portion. The outlet end portion can be retainably received therein due to the flange being larger than the width of the retention portion.

  • Patent number: 10742909
Abstract: A method and device for improving the accuracy of depth information derived from a structured-light image for a regular image are disclosed. In one example, an additional structured-light image is captured before a first structured-light image or after a regular image. The depth information for the regular image can be derived from the first structured-light image and corrected by incorporating depth information from the additional structured-light image. A model for depth information can be used to predict or interpolate depth information for the regular image. In another example, two regular sub-images may be captured with a structured-light image in between. If substantial frame differences or substantial global motion vector/block motion vectors are detected, the two regular sub-images will not be combined in order to avoid possible motion smear. Instead, one of the two sub-images will be selected and scaled as the output regular image.
