  • Patent number: 11284166
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that allow for providing targeted asset/advertisements for broadcast-wide programming feeds. The systems and methods allow network platforms to select among asset options provided with a content stream and/or replace assets in the content stream. In one arrangement, after selecting an asset, the asset is inserted into the content stream and the content stream is disseminated to subsequent network platforms (e.g., local platforms). At this time, the local platforms may insert local assets into the content stream in predetermined local asset insertion spots.

  • Publication number: 20220057328
Abstract: A method and device for determining the depth and fluorophore concentration of a fluorophore concentration below the surface of an optically absorbing and scattering medium suitable for use in fluorescence-based surgical guidance such as in tumor resection is described. Long-wavelength stimulus light us used to obtain deep tissue penetration. • Publication number: 20220047164
Abstract: A system for fluorescence-based imaging of a target includes at least one excitation light source configured to emit a homogeneous field of excitation light and positioned to uniformly illuminate a target surface with the homogeneous field of excitation light during fluorescent imaging, a power source, and a portable housing configured to be held in a user's hand during imaging. The housing contains a lens, a filter, an image sensor, and a processor. The filter is configured to permit optical signals responsive to illumination of the target surface and having a wavelength corresponding to at least one of bacterial autofluorescence and tissue autofluorescence to pass through the filter to the image sensor. The at least one excitation light is adjacent to the housing so as to be positioned between the target surface and the image sensor during fluorescent imaging.

  • Publication number: 20220046306
Abstract: An addressable asset system (100) includes user equipment devices (UEDs) (102), a cloud decisioning system (CDS) (106) and a business data management system (BDMS) (108). The BDMS (108) collects information that is used by the CDS (106) to manage delivery of assets by the UEDs (102). In an exemplary network architecture, the CDS (106) is independent of the network insertion and delivery equipment. In particular, the broadcast content stream is delivered to the UED (102) by a digital content management (DCM) system (110) and certain assets are separately delivered to the UED (102) by the asset download network (AND) (112). This allows the CDS (106) to remain independent of the network of the UED (102) such that the CDS (106) can operate across networks.

  • Publication number: 20220018786
Abstract: Disclosed are methods that, by not physically touching a material being measured, can measure the material's differential response quite accurately. A collimated light shines on the material under test, is reflected off it, and is then captured by a device that records the position where the reflected light is captured. This process is done both before and after the material is processed in some way (e.g., by applying a coat of paint). The change in position where the reflected light is captured is used in calculating the deflection of the material as induced b the process. This measured induced deflection is then used to accurately determinate the stress introduced into the material by the process. Other characteristics of the material under test, such as aspects of the material composition of a bi-metallic strip, for example, may also be determined from a deflection measurement.
