  • Patent number: 11763650
Abstract: Managing foreign RFID tags within a secured area involves use of a first RFID portal system to read tag data from an RFID tag present within a first portal zone. A processing device associated with the first RFID portal system is used to determine whether the RFID tag is entering the secured area. The determination is based on an evaluation of a direction of travel of the RFID tag through the first portal zone. Responsive to determining that the RFID tag is in fact entering the secured area, one or more operations are performed to cause a first tag value corresponding to the tag data to be added into a safe to exit (STE) list.

  • Patent number: 11755410
Abstract: Systems and methods for correcting data errors in memory caused by high-temperature processing of the memory are provided. An integrated circuit (IC) die including a memory is formed. Addresses of memory locations that are susceptible to data loss when subjected to elevated temperatures are determined. Bits of data are written to the memory, where the bits of data include a set of bits written to the memory locations. The set of bits are written to a storage device of the IC die that is not susceptible to data loss when subjected to the elevated temperatures, the subset of bits comprise compressed code. At least one of the bits stored at the addresses is overwritten after subjecting the IC die to an elevated temperature. The at least one of the bits is overwritten based on the set of bits written to the storage device.

  • Patent number: 11711983
Abstract: This disclosure teaches methods for making high-temperature superconducting striated tape combinations and the product high-temperature superconducting striated tape combinations. This disclosure describes an efficient and scalable method for aligning and bonding two superimposed high-temperature superconducting (HTS) filamentary tapes to form a single integrated tape structure. This invention aligns a bottom and top HTS tape with a thin intervening insulator layer with microscopic precision, and electrically connects the two sets of tape filaments with each other. The insulating layer also reinforces adhesion of the top and bottom tapes, mitigating mechanical stress at the electrical connections. The ability of this method to precisely align separate tapes to form a single tape structure makes it compatible with a reel-to-reel production process.

Abstract: Systems and methods for operating an EAS detection system. The methods comprise: detecting an Active Security Tag (“AST”) in an EAS detection zone; determining whether AST is coupled to an object identified in a list; and performing operations when a determination is made that AST is coupled to a listed object. The operations involve: accessing sensor data generated by at least one sensor device disposed on/near display equipment associated with the listed object; processing the sensor data to determine whether a person was within a defined distance range of AST during a period of time immediately preceding the detecting; concluding that a false alarm scenario exists when the sensor data indicates that a person was not within the defined distance range of AST during the period of time; and suppressing alarm issuance by the EAS detection system in response to the false alarm scenario conclusion.

  • Patent number: 11291276
Abstract: A closed end zipper includes a bottom stop at the end of one zipper tape, and a pin at the end of the other zipper tape. The bottom stop has a pin hole and a first detent portion in the pin hole. The pin has a second detent portion formed on the front surface and/or one lateral surface thereof corresponding to the first detent portion. When used to manufacture clothing, the two separate zipper tapes can be sewn on the fabric separately through the template, and then the pin of the other zipper tape is inserted into the pin hole of the bottom stop, so that the second detent portion and the first detent portion snap together. Using this structure, the closed end nylon zipper or resin zipper are suitable for the automated template sewing process to achieve a simple and stable assembly without separation.
