  • Patent number: 10733862
Abstract: Managing foreign RFID tags within a secured area involves use of a first RFID portal system to read tag data from an RFID tag present within a first portal zone. A processing device associated with the first RFID portal system is used to determine whether the RFID tag is entering the secured area. The determination is based on an evaluation of a direction of travel of the RFID tag through the first portal zone. Responsive to determining that the RFID tag is in fact entering the secured area, one or more operations are performed to cause a first tag value corresponding to the tag data to be added into a safe to exit (STE) list.

  • Patent number: 10430049
Abstract: A method, executed by a computer, for file-centric form selection includes receiving a selection of files from a user, determining a relevance value for each form, and presenting the forms to a user in order of relevance value. Once a particular form is selected, a reference to each file may be automatically placed into the form's appropriate input fields. A user may also input non-file information into the form. In certain embodiments, the relevance value is determined by a history of use of the form by the user or by other users. In some embodiments, the relevance value is determined according to the percentage of the form's input fields completed by using the files as input. A computer program product and computer system corresponding to the method are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 10391310
Abstract: A gastrointestinal stimulation apparatus and methods with an electronic controller and a flexible and stretchable electrode array with a central branch and orthogonal bilateral branches that wrap around a section of the gastrointestinal tract and can accommodate repetitive contraction and relaxation movements of the tract. Array branches have a flexible spring structure, stimulation electrodes, recording electrodes, sensors controlled by a controller and adhesion nodes that fix the branches to the tissue. The electrode array can sense the normal peristalsis from upstream tissue and produce a stimulus signal to stimulate the incapable intestine section to generate stimulation-induced contractions. Electrodes on the incapable intestine section can be used for stimulation or recording, the recorded signal from the incapable intestine section can be sent back to the electronics to form a closed loop control system.

  • Patent number: 10228998
Abstract: Systems and methods for correcting data errors in memory caused by high-temperature processing of the memory are provided. An integrated circuit (IC) die including a memory is formed. Addresses of memory locations that are susceptible to data loss when subjected to elevated temperatures are determined. Bits of data are written to the memory, where the bits of data include a set of bits written to the memory locations. The set of bits are written to a storage device of the IC die that is not susceptible to data loss when subjected to the elevated temperatures. At least one of the bits stored at the addresses is overwritten after subjecting the IC die to an elevated temperature. The at least one of the bits is overwritten based on the set of bits written to the storage device.

  • Patent number: 9944967
Abstract: Organohalides (e.g., organofluorides) represent a rapidly expanding proportion of molecules used in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, agrochemicals, and materials. The present invention exploits the naturally occurring acetate condensation pathway as a means of introducing halogenated building blocks into natural product scaffolds. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention provides a pathway involving at least one polyketide synthase system and utilizes haloacetate or a haloacetate synthon (e.g., halomalonate) to incorporate an organohalide into the polyketide backbone in vitro. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention provides an analogous method for site-selective introduction of haloacetate or a synthon into polyketide products in vivo. The present invention expands the scope of existing chemical methods for producing halogenated natural product scaffolds such as complex halogenated natural products.
