    Abstract: A battery-powered vehicle is provided having dual charging capabilities. The vehicle has a body, a plurality of wheels supporting the body, a motor connected to at least one of the plurality of wheels, a battery port having a battery dock and battery dock terminals, a remote charging dock on an exterior of the vehicle body, the remote charging dock having remote charging terminals, a charger having a charger plug and associated charger terminals, and a removable and rechargeable battery having battery terminals. The battery is configured to be positioned in the battery port for charging in the battery port and to have the battery terminals electrically and mechanically mate with the battery dock terminals. The battery is also configured to be removed from the battery port and to have the battery terminals electrically and mechanically mate with the charger terminals for charging outside the battery port.

    Abstract: A conversion scooter is provided that converts from a stand-up mode to a sit-down mode. The conversion scooter has a frame, a seat, a steering assembly at the forward portion of the frame, and a rear wheel coupled to the rear portion of the frame. The seat has a first coupling member at the first end of the seat and the second end of the seat, and a second coupling member at the first end of the seat and the second end of the seat. The frame has a receiver at the forward portion of the frame to secure the first coupling member of the seat to the forward portion of the frame, and a locking assembly at the rear portion of the frame to secure the seat to the rear portion of the frame.

The steering mechanism has a steering post and a longitudinally extending spring member that has a plurality of transverse planar surfaces. A first spring member cavity is provided adjacent the front wheel assembly to receive the first end of the spring member, and a second spring member cavity is provided adjacent the deck to receive the second end of the spring member. A bushing is positioned between the deck and the front wheel assembly to allow the deck to rotate with respect to the front wheel assembly.

    Abstract: A hand-powered vehicle is provided for transportation and entertainment purposes. The vehicle has a frame supporting a pair of side wheels that are driven by the user. The frame includes a front portion and a pair of side portions extending rearwardly to the side wheels. The side portions of the frame do not extend rearwardly past the side wheels. The user sits on a seat that is supported by a portion of the frame extending rearwardly from the front portion and between the two side wheels. A third wheel is provided under or behind the seat, and that wheel is preferably a caster that is coupled to the frame at an angle to a vertical axis. The side wheels have hand grips extending therefrom, and the hand-powered vehicle is configured to be propelled by a user applying a force through the hand grips to rotate the side wheels.

A shock absorber is positioned between the swing arm and the frame so that the shock absorber is compressed when the swing arm pivots in a first direction. A downward swing arm stop limits pivoting of the swing arm in a second direction opposite of the first direction.
