Abstract: An improved permanent seal for a refueling canal of a nuclear power plant is disclosed and claimed. The seal includes a support structure and a membrane. The support structure includes a first annular plate with a number of ribs connected to and extending from a to surface of the support structure annular plate. The support structure is positioned atop the shield wall on the refueling canal floor, encircling and positioned near the annulus. The membrane includes a first end that is connected to the seal ledge and a second end that is connected to the refueling canal floor. The membrane has a stepped profile, with side walls extending substantially perpendicularly from a central annular plate to form a pocket configured to fit over the support structure. Loads imparted to the membrane are transferred through the support structure annular plate and ribs to the refueling canal floor.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a first apparatus may be provided that may comprise a processor and a storage medium coupled to the processor. The storage medium comprises code executable by the processor for performing a first method. The first method may include the step of receiving data comprising a plurality of profiles. Each of the profiles may be associated with a contactless transaction device. The first method may further comprise the steps of communicating with a test contactless transaction device using short range wireless communication, and using the plurality of profiles to emulate each of the contactless transaction devices associated with each of the profiles in a simulated transaction with the test financial transaction device.

Abstract: A personalization of a batch of smart cards is provided. A user is provided with a plurality of queries regarding smart card features. Responses to the plurality of queries are received from the user. A personalization data file is generated using the responses to the plurality of queries, where the personalization data file comprises values, which may be used to provide features on a batch of smart cards.

Abstract: A network device for processing data on a data network includes a port interface configured to receive a data packet from a data network and to send a processed data packet to an egress port of the plurality of ports, a packet evaluation module configured to parse the received data packet and modify the received data packet to form the processed data packet and a search engine configured to perform searches of lookup tables using parsed data packet values and to return search results to the packet evaluation module to assist in modifying the received data packet. At least one lookup table shares at least two different types of entries in that same at least one lookup table, where the search engine is configured to distinguish between the at least two different types of entries in that same at least one lookup table.

Abstract: A container for storage and shipping of objects includes a lid assembly having two configurations and an open-top box. In the first configuration the container can be loaded with objects for storage or collection while limiting physical and visual access to the contents of the box and in the second configuration, the container is sealed for shipping. The lid assembly contains side flaps which may be used to stabilize the lid assembly in the first configuration, and in the second configuration, secure the lid assembly to the open-top box. Preferably, the container is formed from one contiguous blank. The blank is preferably made of corrugated cardboard but may be formed from any substantially rigid material.

A conduit may be formed between the front side and the back side, or any other side, and may convey pressurized working fluid between the two. The conduit may pass relatively high pressure working fluid between any two locations such as from the front side to the back side. The conduit may include an aperture located on the front side and an aperture located on the back side. Any number of conduits may be defined within the centrifugal impeller. Apertures located on the front side of the impeller may be formed in any suitable place, such as a hub of the impeller or an airfoil surface, to set forth just two non-limiting examples.

An aspect of the present disclosure provides a lamp assembly that achieves enhanced cooling of light elements within the assembly. Enhanced cooling is achieved, in this aspect, by providing a lamp assembly including a heat sink having a plurality of thermo bosses protruding therefrom on a first side, and a plurality of heat sink fins on a second side. A printed circuit board is secured to the first side of the heat sink, and has a plurality of through holes that correspond to the size and locations of the thermo bosses, such that when the printed circuit board is secured to the heat sink, the thermo bosses extend into the through holes.

Abstract: A network device for processing data on a data network includes a plurality of ports, configured to receive data from a data network and to send processed data to the data network, a memory management unit configured store data on and retrieve data from the memory and a metering unit configured to police a flow of the processed data to be sent to the network device. The metering unit is configured to utilize a series of leaky bucket units, where tokens are added to each leaky bucket unit only when that particular leaky bucket unit is accessed. The metering unit is also configured to add the tokens based on a prior timestamp value, a current timing value and an established rate and a multiplication to establish the tokens is accomplished by shifting a register of the established rate.
