  • Patent number: 11641817
Abstract: A pollinating device for pollinating crop plants includes a base mountable on a carriage. At least one pollination unit is mounted on the base and includes a pollen-releasing apparatus configured to release pollen from male flowers of the plants and at least one nozzle for directing fluid along a flow path for delivering at least some of the released pollen to the pollen-receiving rows of crop plants. Certain pollinating devices include multiple pollination units spaced apart along a width of the base. Some pollination units include at least two opposing nozzles. Plants are pollinated by driving the carriage along a field and directing air from the nozzles over the pollen born by some plants to deliver the pollen to female flowers of other plants in the field.

  • Patent number: 10959157
Abstract: A method for detecting communication loop in an ad hoc network is provided. The method may comprise: receiving, at a node of the ad hoc network, a message comprising a commutative value, wherein the node is associated with a node identifier and the commutative value pertains to node identifiers associated with one or more nodes along a path the message has been traversed along regardless of the order of the nodes; and determining, with aid of one or more processors, presence of a loop based on whether the commutative value is identical to a previously obtained commutative value.

  • Patent number: 9198025
Abstract: A high-capacity SIM card includes: memory having at least one partition and a memory controller configured: to control at least two modes of access to one partition of the partitions, only one of the modes being a currently-active mode; and to allow the currently-active mode to be operationally changed remotely. Preferably, the memory controller controls operability of reading data, writing data, erasing data, and/or executing code, according to the currently-active mode. Preferably, the memory controller also controls storage of data in the card based on access-control data delivered to the card. Preferably, the memory controller is configured to reversibly operationally change, for one partition, which mode is the currently-active mode. Preferably, the memory controller prohibits change of the currently-active mode by a host device of the card.
