  • Patent number: 12289549
Abstract: Image sensor systems are disclosed that allow for charge transfer between pixels of a group included in a pixel array with a single digital readout of the accumulated charge from the group. Each of the pixels within a given group includes a photodetector. One or more pump gates are arranged between adjacent pixels of the given group to allow charge to be pumped from one pixel to the next in a serial fashion within the group. A readout circuit that includes at least a transfer gate and a capacitor may be coupled to a final pixel of the group to receive the accumulated charge and generate a photodetector signal (based on the accumulated charge) that can be amplified via a source follower component and ultimately read out to a column amplifier.

  • Patent number: 12281911
Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to systems and methods for providing end of route navigation. A network system identifies a destination of a route and retrieves a display template based on the destination. The display template provides guidelines for display of end of route content, whereby the display of the end of the route content is different than display of content during a middle of the route. Based on the display template, a display time to trigger display of the end of the route content. The display time may be associated with a threshold distance to the destination. The network system monitors a location of a vehicle along the route and accesses end of route content. Responsive to detecting that the location of the vehicle is at the threshold distance to the destination, the end of the route content is displayed on a device associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: A method of collecting oral mucosal cells from a patient and evaluating the oral mucosal cells for oral squamous cell carcinoma predisposition in the patient includes collecting a sample of chewing gum from a patient that had chewed the chewing gum for a minimum of about 5 minutes up to about 30 minutes. The chewing gum includes a molecular adherent targeted towards oral mucosal cells with oral squamous cell carcinoma predisposition. A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is performed on a DNA template prepared from the chewed chewing gum using oligonucleotide primers that are selected to amplify nucleic acids that screen for genomic sequence variations seen in genes that are indicative of oral squamous cell carcinoma predisposition in the patient.

  • Patent number: 12275968
Abstract: The current invention involves the use of protein lectins produced by plants including the non-toxic carbohydrate binding subunits (B subunits) of plant “AB toxins” (PTB lectins) as delivery vehicles for mobilizing associated drug substances for delivery to animal and human cells. The resulting protein fusions or conjugates retain lectin carbohydrate specificity for binding to cells and cellular trafficking activity so as to deliver an associated drug compound to the site of disease manifestation. One embodiment of this invention concerns the ability of ricin toxin B subunit, as a model PTB lectin, to deliver enzyme replacement therapeutic drugs to cells of several organs of the body including the brain and central nervous system, eyes, ears, lungs, bone, heart, kidney, liver, and spleen for treating lysosomal diseases.

  • Publication number: 20250115924
Abstract: Plant cell fate and development is altered by treating cells with cellular reprogramming factors. Embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental genes are used as cellular reprogramming factors, specifically comprising polypeptides or polynucleotides encoding gene products for generating doubled haploids or haploid plants from gametes. Maize microspores treated by contacting the isolated cells with an exogenous purified, recombinant embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental gene polypeptide results in embryogenesis. The gametes of a maize plant develop into embryoids when transformed with a genetic construct including regulatory elements and structural genes capable of acting in a cascading fashion to alter cellular fate of plant cells. Developmental morphogenic proteins expressed from a genetic construct are used for ex situ treatment methods and for in planta cellular reprogramming.

  • Publication number: 20250114962
Abstract: The punching flank 303 on the shaping press 30 makes a second angle ? with the grain of the wood fibers. In order to allow a wider variety of shapes to be pressed into the workpiece and facilitate the demolding of the object from the press after pressing, this angle may vary between 0° and 5°. Thus, the profile of the shaping press on its punching flank may be slightly tapered as illustrated in FIG. 6. This second angle ? additionally makes it possible to obtain a higher quality finish on the internal surface of the wood object.

  • Patent number: 12268394
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for occluding the left atrial appendage (LAA). The device excludes the LAA from blood flow. The implantable device is delivered via transcatheter delivery into the LAA and secured within the LAA. The implant comprises an expandable and compliant frame and an expandable and conformable tubular foam body. A delivery and tether retraction system includes a handle for controlling a pusher and tether. The pusher may be moved a distance away from the implant without changing the orientation of the implant, while the tether is still attached to the implant. Severing the tether and proximally retracting a control on the hand piece by a distance causes the severed end to advance distally by at least about twice that distance. A loader includes a conical portion with guides and a reservoir for submerging the foam prior to loading and delivery.
