  • Patent number: 7885738
Abstract: A method, medium, and apparatus of a self-propelled mobile unit with obstacle avoidance during wall-following. In the self-propelled mobile unit, a carrying unit may move the mobile unit by using a transmitted power, and a sensor unit can detect an obstacle and a wall, which may be respectively placed in front of and to the side of the mobile unit, with respect to a moving direction of the carrying unit. A controller may direct the carrying unit by generating a path along which the carrying unit moves according to a detection result from the sensor unit. Accordingly, the controller can direct the carrying unit to move while maintaining a predetermined distance (within a predetermined range) from the wall. If the sensor unit detects an obstacle, the controller directs the carrying unit to move in an obstacle free direction.

  • Patent number: 7286551
Abstract: A MAC device guarantees QoS in a VoIP wireless LAN by giving higher priority to voice data than to non-voice data. Transmission data generated by an application program is provided to a modem according to the priority assigned to the data. A kernel classifies the transmission data into voice and non-voice data. A MAC driver stores the voice and non-voice data in two queues, and transmits a MAC header to a MAC transmitter to notify it of generation of the transmission data, and transmits the stored voice or non-voice data to the MAC transmitter according to the type of a transmission interrupt received from the MAC transmitter in response to the notification. The MAC transmitter combines the voice or non-voice data, received from the MAC driver in response to the transmission interrupt, with a corresponding header, and outputs it to the modem.

  • Publication number: 20070125837
Abstract: Provided are a method for processing reception calls during mobile RFID service processing, and a wireless terminal employing the method. The terminal provides mobile RFID service by receiving tag information from the RFID reader, requesting the object directory server for CS position information based on the tag information, requesting service contents based on the tag information and CS position information. The present invention prevents collision between reception call processing and mobile RFID service processing in the wireless terminal by processing reception call appropriately to each duration of mobile RFID service processing. For example, when a call is received before read command is transmitted to the RFID reader, the RFID reader is turned off and the reception call is processed. When a call is received before CS position information is requested, the CS position information is requested after the reception call is processed.
