  • Patent number: 10393609
Abstract: A system includes a cylinder, a piston, a sensor configured to detect vibrations of the cylinder, piston, or both that correspond with varying pressures within the cylinder, and a controller coupled to the sensor. The controller is configured to receive a first signal from the sensor corresponding with first vibrations of the cylinder and to deduce from the first signal a first operating value of a parameter indicative of peak firing pressure at a first time, to compare the first operating value with a baseline value of the parameter indicative of peak firing pressure to detect a change in peak firing pressure, to receive a second signal from the sensor corresponding with second vibrations of the cylinder and to deduce from the second signal a second operating value of the parameter indicative of peak firing pressure at a second time, and to compare the second operating value with the baseline value to confirm the change in peak firing pressure.

  • Publication number: 20190018399
Abstract: A telemetry master (TM) system provides automatic monitoring and maintenance of equipment by automatically generating predictive actions of a certain confidence threshold to backend systems which maintain a full duplex communication channel with the TM system. Data entries including context information that are generated by applications corresponding to the backend systems during the functioning of the backend systems are collected, analyzed and actionable items such as alerts, alarms of particular messages cause the telemetry master system to generate a predictive action of a minimum confidence threshold using a pre-trained first data model. A second data model is employed to identify particular equipment from the backend systems that is to implement the action. Results from implementing the action are collected and again used to train the data models. Certain applications can include intelligent agents which enable automatic execution of the actions.

  • Patent number: 10146462
Abstract: Methods and systems for a networked storage environment are provided. One method includes using a storage service level (SSL) object and a protection service level (PSL) object for storing a plurality of configurable attributes by a processor. A combination of the configurable attributes define service level classes (SLCs) in a networked storage system using a plurality of resources. The SSL object and the PSL object use a same schema and naming convention for defining the plurality of configurable attributes regardless of configuration attribute type and resource type. The method also includes obtaining by the processor, attributes defining a second SLC for a storage volume assigned to a first SLC; and updating by the processor, a quality of service (QOS) policy for the storage volume for using a resource that meets attributes of the second SLC. The storage volume is assigned the resource to process requests for data.
