    Abstract: The present invention relates to a semiconductor device with an asymmetric gate structure.     Abstract: Disclosed are methods and compositions for inhibiting IRF4 in T-cells, thereby improving transplant outcomes or treating an autoimmune disease such as a myelination disorder. Thus, disclosed are methods to improve a transplant outcome in a recipient of a transplant comprising inhibiting IRF4 in T-cells of the recipient, thereby improving the transplant outcome. In some embodiments, IRF4 can be inhibited by administering an IRF4 inhibitor (e.g., trametinib or anti-IRF4 siRNA), and/or by adoptive transfer of T-cells having IRF4 inhibition. In some embodiments, the T-cells are CD4+ Tcells, and the infiltration thereof into a transplant can be reduced. Also disclosed are methods of treating a subject with a myelination disorder (e.g., multiple sclerosis or encephalomyelitis) comprising inhibiting IRF4.

The transmittable layer is located between the two substrates and has a plurality of liquid crystal molecules. Each of the plurality of liquid crystal molecule is arranged along the alignment direction of the substrate nearby, and the plurality of liquid crystal molecules is arranged in a 90-degree twisted arrangement. The two polarizers are located at two outer surfaces of the two substrates, respectively. Each polarizer has a polarization direction parallel to the alignment direction of the substrate on the same outer surface. The light source emits a lateral light entering the transmittable layer laterally.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a system for generating a composite PET-CT image based on a non-attenuation-corrected PET image. The method includes: constructing a first generative adversarial network and a second generative adversarial network; obtaining a mapping relationship between a non-attenuation-corrected PET image and an attenuation-corrected PET image by training the first generative adversarial network; obtaining a mapping relationship between the attenuation-corrected PET image and a CT image by training the second generative adversarial network; and generating the composite PET-CT image by utilizing the obtained mapping relationships. According to the present disclosure, a high-quality PET-CT image can be directly composited from a non-attenuation-corrected PET image, and medical costs can be reduced for patients, and radiation doses applied to the patients in examination processes can be minimized.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an event positioning method, device and application in a distributed fiber vibration monitoring system. When a location at which an event occurs in a sensing fiber is to be positioned, an interference field signal having a maximum optical power is obtained by comparing optical powers of respective interference field signals corresponding to backward Rayleigh scattering lights that are generated when a pulse light is transmitted in the sensing fiber. Subsequently, a sensing location of the interference field signal having the maximum optical power is calculated. Finally, the location at which the event occurs in the sensing fiber is determined, according to the sensing location and a location distribution pattern of the event. According to the positioning method provided in the present invention, by screening the interference field signals and then calculating the event location, the spatial resolution is not determined merely by the pulse width of the optical signal.
