  • Publication number: 20100062214
Abstract: Disclosed is a micro-hole structure and a method for forming the micro-hole. A working energy source is projected onto a predetermined drilling site on a first surface of a substrate for a given period of time so as to melt a portion of the substrate to form a working energy entering section until the working energy source penetrates through a second surface of the substrate to form a micro-hole. A melt formed by melting a portion of the substrate in the micro-hole next to the second surface is allowed to reflow in a direction opposite to the projection of the working energy source to thereby form a reflow section in the substrate. Further, a two or more stages emission of laser pulses is used to form the micro-hole to control the bore diameter of the micro-hole.

  • Publication number: 20050188359
Abstract: A method and a computer program product for developing and directing simulations used to train humans and animals in the development of various skills. The computer program product provides for selection of multiple locations within a defined area on a display screen, creation of one or more high level computer instructions describing the simulation relative to said locations and translation of the high level computer instructions into low level computer executable instructions necessary to carry out execution of the simulation. The high level computer instructions can be entered manually, or created automatically following selection of a high level command combined with a high level action. The resulting high level instructions can be downloaded to an external portable device for convenient display of the simulation at a remote location. The external device may be a remote control device that is capable of displaying simulations and controlling multiple electronic training devices.

  • Publication number: 20040246214
Abstract: A video sampling circuit of a liquid crystal display with a merit of feed-through voltage reduction was disclosed. The sampling circuit comprises a first thin film transistor (TFT) and a counteracting device. The first TFT has a first electrode to receive the analog signal, a control electrode to receive the clock signal, and a second electrode, and samples the analog signal when the clock signal is at a first logic level. The counteracting device is coupled to the second electrode. When the clock signal is changed from the first logic level to a second logic level, a feed-through voltage drop caused by a parasitic capacitor between the second electrode and the control electrode of the first TFT is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6382002
Abstract: A gun lock includes a key operated lock mounted on a gun to prevent said gun from firing. A faceplate is attached to one side of the key operated lock to abut the gun, and a spindle hole is defined in the other side of the key operated lock. A U-shaped latch bolt has two arms connected by a rigid connecting block. One arm of the latch bolt is inserted into the barrel of the gun to prevent a bullet from being moved into the chamber of the gun. The other arm of the latch bolt penetrates the spindle hole and is held in place by the key operated lock.
