  • Patent number: 10171458
Abstract: In a first implementation, a host determines to pair with a device and transmits biometric data for a user to the device. The device receives the transmitted biometric data and compares such to device biometric data to determine whether or not to pair with the host and/or what data stored by the device to allow the host to access. The host then accesses data of the device to which the device has allowed access. In another implementation, a device determines to pair with a host and transmits biometric data for a user to the host. The host receives the transmitted biometric data and compares such to device biometric data to determine whether or not to pair with the device and/or what data stored by the host to allow the device to access. The device then accesses data of the host to which the host has allowed access.

  • Publication number: 20180235026
Abstract: The present invention relates to an SDN-based WIA-PA field network/IPv6 backhaul network joint scheduling method, which belongs to the technical field of industrial networks. Specific to the currently existing problems on data interaction among multiple WIA-PA networks and between the WIA-PA network and an IPv6 network, the method implements a scheduling function for a WIA-PA data stream in the IPv6 backhaul network and adds a joint control function for supporting a WIA-PA network manager in an SDN controller based on the IPv6 backhaul network according to the self-characteristics and application requirements of the WIA-PA network. The present invention not only implements the joint scheduling of a cross-network data stream for the IPv6 backhaul network and the WIA-PA network, but also enables the fine-grain recognition specific to the WIA-PA network data stream to implement the bandwidth guarantee for the end-to-end cross-network data stream.

  • Publication number: 20180178613
Abstract: The present invention discloses an air quality monitoring device that can measure the hazardous gas contents, including benzene, formaldehyde and VOCs, and other air quality measurements inside train cars in real time. The air quality monitoring device can be installed inside a train car, either in the middle of the car, or at the end, or other locations. Each air quality device is equipped with a unique ID (e.g., MAC address, IP address, and RFID), which can be associated with a car or location inside the train. When hazardous gas level in a train car exceeds the safety level, this car or location can be identified and an air quality control unit injects or sprays photocatalyst material to the air to improve the air quality.
