The fan frame has an air inlet end and an air outlet end, and includes a sidewall, a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is disposed close to the air inlet end and connected to one end of the sidewall. The bottom portion is disposed close to the air outlet end and connected to the other end of the sidewall. The bottom portion has at least one silencing structure.

Abstract: A flexible cutter holder for a cutting plotter for movably connecting to a track of the cutting plotter, comprising an upper cutter holder, a cutter, a lower cutter holder, and a flexible member. The upper cutter holder has a receiving space for disposing a thimble therein. The cutter is provided in the receiving space of the upper cutter holder below the thimble. The lower cutter holder is provided below the upper cutter holder and it has a through aperture for penetratingly disposing the cutter therein. The flexible member is provided between the upper cutter holder and the lower cutter holder, so as to increase the outward protruding length of the cutter from the bottom of the lower cutter holder when the bottom of lower cutter holder is pressed upwards by a workpiece.

Abstract: The present invention provides a power-factor converter with nonlinear conversion ratio, wherein the power-factor converter includes a first inductor, a second inductor, a rectifier circuit and a switch circuit. The switch circuit is arranged to be switched to form a circuit equivalent to a parallel connection of the first inductor and the second inductor during an inductor-charging-phase for charging the first inductor and the second inductor in parallel by an AC power source, and form a circuit equivalent to a series connection of the first inductor L1 and the second inductor L2 during an inductor-discharging-phase for discharging the first inductor and the second inductor to the rectifier circuit in series.

Abstract: A method for generating a lookup table for color correction for a display device includes obtaining measured stimulus values for grayscales of primaries displayed on the display device, obtaining target stimulus values for the grayscales of the primaries, and obtaining the lookup table by comparing the measured stimulus values for the grayscales of the primaries and the target stimulus values for the grayscales of the primaries. The measured display characteristic is employed to calculate the corresponding lookup table for color correction for the display device for achieving a desired color temperature and brightness curve. It makes the adjustment of color temperature and brightness more accurate and quicker, to reduce cost.

Abstract: An electro-thinning apparatus for removing excess metal from the surface metal layer of the substrate is provided. The apparatus includes an electrolysis bath, a transportation system, an anode roller, a cathode roller, and at least one shielding plate. The electrolysis bath contains an electrolysis liquid. The transportation system is disposed in the electrolysis bath for moving a substrate from an upstream end to a downstream end. The anode roller is disposed relative to the electrolysis bath and located upstream to the transportation system. The cathode roller is located above the transportation system and located downstream to the anode roller. The at least one shielding plate is located downstream to the cathode roller. During electrolysis, the anode roller contacts a surface metal layer of the substrate while the cathode roller is partly immersed in the electrolysis liquid and away from the surface metal layer of the substrate during electrolysis.

The semiconductor package includes a silicon substrate unit, a bridge chip and at least one active chip. The silicon substrate unit has a cavity and a plurality of vias. The bridge chip is attached to the cavity and has a plurality of non-contact pads. The active chip is disposed above the bridge chip and has a plurality of non-contact pads and a plurality of conducting elements. The conducting elements of the active chip contact the vias of the silicon substrate unit, the non-contact pads of the active chip face but are not in physical contact with the non-contact pads of the bridge chip, so as to provide proximity communication between the active chip and the bridge chip.

Abstract: A guided tissue regeneration membrane has a top surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of through holes formed through the top and bottom surfaces. Each of the plurality of through holes has a base opening on the top surface and a tip opening on the bottom surface. The diameter of the base opening is larger than that of the tip opening. The guided tissue regeneration membrane is placed between a hard tissue and a soft tissue of gums with the top surface thereof facing the hard tissue so as to hinder the soft tissue from rapidly growing. The tip openings are available for the soft tissue to supply nutrient to the hard tissue therethrough. The hard tissue can grow from the base openings, through the corresponding through holes and to the soft tissue to repair periodontal tissue.

Abstract: A degradable hemostatic sponge that can be self-degraded and absorbed by a human body has poly lactic acid as its main material and mixed with a moisture-absorbent material, such as collagen, chitosan, starch and the like, at a specific ratio. Given grinding, mixing and melting steps, the materials using a supercritical fluid as a foaming agent can be used to manufacture the degradable hemostatic sponge having an open-cell microcellular form by a continuous extrusion foaming process. In addition, the present invention also includes a system and a method for manufacturing the degradable hemostatic sponge.

The in-cylinder ionization signals are integrated and the rotational completion point of a chosen percentage of the integration total is identified as the integration location for the operating conditions under observation. The calculated integration location correlates with alcohol concentration level of flex fuel, and the integration calculations provide a basis for a virtual flex fuel sensor that provides calculated estimates of alcohol concentration rather than direct sensing using an expensive physical flex fuel sensor.

The wire-bonding method includes following steps. First, initial position coordinates of the first region and the second region are obtained. Next, it is determined whether a space between the first region and the second region is greater than a predetermined space. When the space between the first region and the second region is greater than the predetermined space, the first wire-bonder and the second wire-bonder respectively bond the first chips and the second chips simultaneously.
