  • Patent number: 7584705
Abstract: A system for rising and storing a monitor to a desk includes a box located beneath a top of the desk and having a top hole. A link mechanism includes a transverse bar on which the base of the monitor is rested and two first links are pivotably connected to two ends of the transverse bar. The two first links are pivotably connected to two first ends of two plates which are pivotably connected to the box by two respective mediate portions. Two second links are connected to two second ends of the plates and a cover for closing a top hole of the box. Two springs are connected between the plates and two protrusions on the first links. The cover is moved vertically into the top hole of the box and then pivoted an angle when the monitor is moved through the top hole.

  • Patent number: 7257412
Abstract: Methods and systems for location estimation. Signals are received from a plurality of satellites and a plurality of base stations by a mobile station. The location of the mobile station is estimated according to TOA (Time-Of-Arrival) and TDOA (Time Difference-Of-Arrival) measurements calculated based on the signals.

  • Publication number: 20070161381
Abstract: A location estimation method is provided. The method locates coordinates of a mobile station (MS) by referencing a plurality of base stations (BS). A geometric distribution of the BS is analyzed to provide a list of conditional equations. A virtual BS is allocated, having a virtual distance to the MS to provide a constraint equation. The MS location is derived from the conditional equations and the constraint equation.

  • Publication number: 20050141957
Abstract: A fixture for securing an umbrella to a chair includes a first clip, a second clip, a connector nod, a pulling rod, a cam rod, a pin, and a spring. The pin is inserted through the spring and connects with the first clip and the second clip at respective ends. The first clip has a hole at the center. The connector nod has a spherical socket at one end and a connecting end at the opposite end. The spherical socket has an opening at the outer end and a notch at one side and a ditch at the opposite side thereof. The notch is interconnected with the opening. The ditch extends all the way to the connecting end, which urges the connecting end to insert into the hole of the first clip. The pulling rod is inserted through the first clip and the second clip and connected with the cam rod at one end.

  • Publication number: 20050126612
Abstract: An adjustable fixture for an umbrella includes a sleeve, a cam handle, and a block incorporated with an inner rod and an outer rod of the umbrella. The outer rod is inserted within the sleeve while the inner rod is inserted within the outer rod. The sleeve comprises a connecting wall bossing out from one side of the sleeve and holes on the same side exposing from the connecting wall. The cram handle has a cram at one end pivotally connected to the connecting wall by a pin. The block is located between the cram of the cram handle and the holes of the sleeve. Springs are located between the block and the outer rod. The block is urged by the springs towards the cam of the cam handle. When pushing down the cam handle, the cam urges the block to tighten the inner rod firmly.

  • Patent number: 6246838
Abstract: A camera includes a casing having an optical device disposed in the front portion and a film disposed in the rear portion. One or more image sheets are detachably securing to the middle portion of the casing and between the film and the optical device by magnetic members. The magnetic members of the casing or the magnetic members of the image sheets are different from each other for checking the image sheets at the correct position. The casing includes a window having an additional image sheet for checking whether the image sheets are at the correct position.
