  • Publication number: 20100121806
Abstract: The present invention relates to an engineering design method and a system of implementing same. In one embodiment, the method includes a construction process of knowledge components and a design process based on the knowledge components. The knowledge components pack universal modules in the standard forms. Accordingly, the knowledge components are independent from design layouts or design processes of products, and reusable in different projects and platforms. The design process integrates a variety of software platforms via a uniform environment and calls the knowledge components to complete the engineering designs. Further, the design process defines a data relation and an execution relation of the knowledge components and establishes a relationship between the knowledge components without programming. The universal module comprises at least operations, methods, rules and/or flows of an engineering design process and engineering analysis process.

  • Publication number: 20100039062
Abstract: A charging system for electrical vehicle batteries has a smart charge power meter with a computer control system to measure and integrate the delivered electrical power, enable/disable the charging stations and make all of the other necessary purchasing transaction steps equivalent to a gas station operation. The system may collect electricity by using whatever alternative energy system is available or can be incorporated into the charging system when it is constructed. The system may store the collected electricity in a high capacity energy storage system. The charging takes place at a charging lot which is within a secure perimeter to assure safety and prevent vandalism. The siting of charging lots is chosen to coincide with locations where vehicles are usually parked for extended times (e.g., parking lots, businesses, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20070190474
Abstract: A system comprises at least one semiconductor fabrication process apparatus with a fan for providing a downflow. A sensor is disposed on or in a conduit that is fluidly coupled to the semiconductor fabrication process apparatus for releasing an exhaust fluid of a process. The sensor is capable of detecting a characteristic of the exhaust fluid flowing within the conduit and producing a signal indicating the characteristic. A processor is coupled to the sensor. A venting apparatus is coupled to the processor. The processor compares the characteristic of the exhaust fluid with at least one predetermined value to control the venting apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20070163729
Abstract: A support bracket assembly for the headrail of window blinds comprises a support bracket and a clamping body wherein the support bracket has a vertical abutment surface made up of a slant-cut facet, guide recesses and stop ends, and a horizontal abutment surface composed of a retaining board, support plates, and an accommodation space. The clamping body has multiple oblique guide blocks of different thickness, a limiting slot and symmetrical pivoting guide plates extending vertically at one side of the top surface thereon, and a clamping board protruding horizontally at the other side thereof. Via the aforementioned structure, the clamping body assembled onto the support bracket thereof can be obliquely adjusted up/down and moved forwards/backwards along the support bracket to fit to headrails of different sizes for stable location thereof, expanding the range of application and achieving the best using state thereof.

  • Patent number: 7121752
Abstract: A multi-purpose pen includes an upper pen shaft and a lower pen shaft joined by a hollow middle ring in between. The upper pen shaft has a cone-shaped lucent section at a rear end thereof, such that light beams emitted form an illumination module located in the upper pen shaft are passed out to an exterior via the cone-shaped lucent section. The upper pen shaft further has a pen clamp at the rear end thereof. A front edge of a reverse side of the pen clamp is disposed with a protruding object that is penetrated into a corresponding opening at the upper pen shaft, so as to touch-control a light source switch at a circuit board of the illumination module. An insulating strap is located between the circuit board and the protruding object for preventing electricity leakage.

  • Publication number: 20060115618
Abstract: A highly reflective and corrosion-resistant reflective layer film and its sputtering target includes a sliver alloy film by adding proper amount of main metal alloy (A) that includes cobalt (Co) or manganese (Mn) or two of them in pure sliver, and an auxiliary metal alloy (B) added if desired. The auxiliary metal alloy (B) can be composed of one or more of gold (Au), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt) and copper (Cu). These metals constitute a silver alloy, with which a sputtering target is made, and a highly reflective and corrosion-resistant layer film is coated on an optical discs by sputtering process. The silver alloy has the amount of silver 80%-99.99%, that of the main metal alloy (A) 0.01%-5%, and that of the auxiliary metal alloy (B) 0.01%-15%.
