    Abstract: Fabricating a nanopore sensor includes depositing a first and second oxide layers on first and second sides of a sapphire substrate. The second oxide layer is patterned to form an etch mask having a mask opening in the second oxide layer. A crystalline orientation dependent wet anisotropic etch is performed on the second side of the sapphire substrate using the etch mask to form a cavity having sloped side walls through the sapphire substrate to yield an exposed portion of the first oxide layer, each of the sloped side walls being a crystalline facet aligned with a respective crystalline plane of the sapphire substrate. A silicon nitride layer is deposited on the first oxide layer. The exposed portion of the first oxide layer in the cavity is removed, thereby defining a silicon nitride membrane in the cavity. An opening is formed through the silicon nitride membrane.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with detecting impairment using a vibration fingerprint that characterizes gait dynamics are described. An example method includes receiving measurements of a gait of a being from a sensor. The measurements of the gait are converted into a time series of observations for each frequency bin in a set of frequency bins. A time series of residuals is generated for each range of the set by pointwise subtraction between the time series of observations and a time series of references for each range of the set. An impairment metric is generated based on the time series of residuals. The impairment metric is compared to a threshold for the impairment. In response to the impairment metric satisfying the threshold, the being is indicated to be impaired.

The insulation withstand voltage detection method for the wiring harness includes: step S10: placing a to-be-detected wiring harness in an enclosed cavity, in which a conductive electrode plate is disposed in the enclosed cavity, and the to-be-detected wiring harness has one end insulated and enclosed, and the other end connected to a power supply; step S20: reducing air pressure in the enclosed cavity; step S30: providing a test voltage by the power supply; and step S40: detecting a voltage of the to-be-detected wiring harness, and/or detecting a leakage current of the to-be-detected wiring harness. Through the present disclosure, it alleviates the technical problem in the prior art that the dielectric insulation detection of a high-voltage wiring harness cannot realize the in-line detection of finished products.

    Abstract: Techniques for geometric aging data reduction for machine learning applications are disclosed. In some embodiments, an artificial-intelligence powered system receives a first time-series dataset that tracks at least one metric value over time. The system then generates a second time-series dataset that includes a reduced version of a first portion of the time-series dataset and a non-reduced version of a second portion of the time-series dataset. The second portion of the time-series dataset may include metric values that are more recent than the first portion of the time-series dataset. The system further trains a machine learning model using the second time-series dataset that includes the reduced version of the first portion of the time-series dataset and the non-reduced version of the second portion of the time-series dataset. The trained model may be applied to reduced and/or non-reduced data to detect multivariate anomalies and/or provide other analytic insights.

With the method of the present invention, doped aluminum can be perfectly embedded into cobalt oxide lattices, thus effectively enhancing the tap density and uniformity of aluminum doped cobalt oxide and improving the cycle performance and charge-discharge performance of batteries.
