  • Publication number: 20240130787
Abstract: An optical fiber having a distal end extending from a distal end of an endoscope can direct light to and from a target. An interferometer can receive first light pulses from a first frequency comb having a first repetition rate, form reference arm light pulses and measurement arm light pulses from the first light pulses, direct the measurement arm light pulses to and from the target via the optical fiber to form return light pulses, and interfere the return light pulses with the reference arm light pulses to form interferometer output pulses. A beamsplitter can interfere the interferometer output pulses with second light pulses from a second frequency comb having a second repetition rate to form system output pulses. Processor circuitry can determine, from a time duration between consecutive system output pulses, a spacing between the optical fiber and the target, and can take an action in response.

  • Patent number: 11965150
Abstract: A method is provided for vaporized hydrogen peroxide cleaning of a chamber. The method includes altering a temperature of air in the chamber from an initial temperature to a sterilization temperature over a first time period. The method also includes injecting vaporized hydrogen peroxide into air in the chamber to alter a relative humidity of hydrogen peroxide vapor in the chamber to a sterilization level over the first time period. The method also includes maintaining the temperature at the sterilization temperature and the relative humidity at the sterilization level over a second time period. The method also includes reducing the relative humidity from the sterilization level to a safe level over a third time period. In one embodiment, the method is provided for vaporized hydrogen peroxide cleaning of an interior chamber of an incubation container. In other embodiments, the incubation chamber featured in the method is provided.

  • Publication number: 20240111048
Abstract: In a laser tissue ablation system, a distal end of an optical fiber can extend from an endoscope. The optical fiber can receive therapeutic laser light pulses at first times, receive measurement light pulses at second times, direct the therapeutic laser light pulses and the measurement light pulses toward a target, collect, as collected light pulses, at least some of the measurement light pulses that are reflected from the target, and direct, as return light pulses, at least some of the collected light pulses away from the distal end of the optical fiber. An optical detector can sense at least some of the return light pulses. Processor circuitry can perform a time-of-flight analysis of the sensed return light pulses to determine a spacing between the distal end of the optical fiber and the target and can generate a spacing data signal representing the determined spacing.

  • Publication number: 20240108410
Abstract: A laser tissue ablation system can include an optical fiber, with a distal end being extendible from an endoscope body of an endoscope. The optical fiber can deliver therapeutic laser light from the distal end of the optical fiber toward a target site, and receive return light into the distal end of the optical fiber. The laser tissue ablation system can include a sensor that can spectrally measure the return light. The laser tissue ablation system can include processor circuitry that can form a first determination, from the spectral measurement of the return light, whether flashing event light is present in the return light. The flashing event light can be generated when a flashing event occurs at the distal end of the optical fiber. The processor circuitry can generate, in response to the first determination, a flashing event data signal that indicates whether the flashing event has occurred.

  • Patent number: 11922471
Abstract: To automate a pricing strategy for an otherwise unpriced service or item, prices may be generated through a plurality of different pricing models, via a pricing engine passing input data to a plurality of discrete pricing models. Those pricing models may pass data back to the pricing engine, which then adjudicates the results of the pricing models to identify a most-relevant pricing model for the particular unpriced service or item.
