  • Patent number: 10657739
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving on-board diagnostic (OBD) data from an OBD port of a vehicle, receiving tire pressure data from one or more tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors, and receiving accelerometer data from one or more accelerometers. The method further includes determining, based on at least some of the OBD data and at least some of the accelerometer data, recommended tires to install on the vehicle. The method further includes determining, based on at least some of the OBD data and at least some of the tire pressure data, a recommended tire pressure for at least one tire of the vehicle. • Patent number: 9442521
Abstract: Disclosed is a system comprised of a bag and computer combination which allows the bag wearer to quickly access and use a computer while mobile. The system can be in three forms and all three are used in the same way: a pivoting cover is moved out of the way to expose a display which pivots into the line of sight of the wearer/operator. When assembled, all the components are physically connected and electrical components are electrically connected. Additional components include a keyboard or write pad mounted on the pivoting cover or on a separate pivoting mount near the center bag front, a display prop which braces the display in various angular positions and side pockets fitted for peripherals. An example is cited using a bag with flap mounts and equipment which mounts to the flaps using clamps.

  • Patent number: 9141844
Abstract: The system includes a 3D feature detection module and 3D recognition module 202. The 3D feature detection module processes 3D surface map of a biometric object, wherein the 3D surface map includes a plurality of 3D coordinates. The 3D feature detection module determines whether one or more types of 3D features are present in the 3D surface map and generates 3D feature data including 3D coordinates and feature type for the detected features. The 3D recognition module compares the 3D feature data with biometric data sets for identified persons. The 3D recognition module determines a match between the 3D feature data and one of the biometric data sets when a confidence value exceeds a threshold.

  • Patent number: 8867199
Abstract: The disclosed invention is a bag and computer combination where the computing unit is in a panel on the front of the bag. The display panel is pivotally attached near the top front of the bag and pivots to cover the computing unit. The display panel may be held in an operating angular position using a fabric flap or free sections on the display panel side edges to suspend the display panel from the bag while an extension on the display panel temporarily sticks to the computing unit panel. Several ways are described to provide access from the computer to the bag interior. As an alternative, the display panel may be pivotally attached in a similar manner directly to the computing unit panel which is attachable to the bag front. In this arrangement the computer is removable and usable on a desk top or on a wall.

  • Patent number: 8830666
Abstract: The disclosed invention is a bag with a computer display panel attached to it. The display panel remains attached to the bag by a retainer while it pivots near the top front corner of the bag so that the operator/wearer of the bag can view the display. To move from an operating to storage position, the display panel pivots upward into a vertical position and slides downward into a pocket-like holder on the bag front. The retainer attaches to the bag inside the holder. For maintaining an angular position of the display panel relative to the bag front when in operation, the display panel includes a prop extending to the holder front. The prop presses against the holder front while the display panel is supported by the retainer. A computing unit panel, electrically connected to the display panel, may be attached to the inside front of the bag.

  • Publication number: 20140049893
Abstract: Disclosed are improvements on a display panel mounted to a bag. For a display panel mounted in a pocket and with a retainer for angle holding capability, protective spacers may be provided. To hold a vertical operating position, alternative plug and socket, sliding and pivoting prop and pivoting prop mounted to a fixed prop may be provided. A bag made for display panel mounting may include an attachment area and including a display panel to bag front prop is disclosed. For display panels mounted with right and left free sections, a loop of material may serve as the free sections for quick mounting and dismounting. An electrical connection, specialized holder and removable display panel including free sections are also disclosed. The display panel may be mounted to the bag with a two panel arrangement where a cover folds over the display panel in a way reminiscent of folding portable clock.

  • Patent number: 8605416
Abstract: Disclosed is an improvement to the bag computer of application Ser. No. 11/796,920. The bag computer has a pivoting display panel near its top front which can store against the bag front or pivot into the line of sight of the bag computer wearer/operator. The display panel may have controls on the side opposite the display. To gain advantage through multiple components, the display panel may be divided into a front portion with display and back portion with controls. Ways to divide and assemble these display panel components are described and include: 1) direct attachment between the two portions with one portion connecting to the bag; 2) a fastening frame attaching the two portions with one portion connecting to the bag; 3) an attachment frame which connects to the bag and accepts the two portions.
