    Abstract: Durable and scratch resistant articles including low-reflectance optical coating with gradient portion. In some embodiments, an article comprises: a substrate comprising a first major surface; and an optical coating disposed over the first major surface. The optical coating comprises: a second major surface; a thickness; and a first gradient portion. A refractive index of the optical coating varies along a thickness of the optical coating. The difference between the maximum refractive index of the first gradient portion and the minimum refractive index of the first gradient portion is 0.05 or greater. The absolute value of the slope of the refractive index of the first gradient portion is 0.1/nm or less everywhere along the thickness of the first gradient portion. The article exhibits a single side photopic average light reflectance of 3% or less, and a maximum hardness from 10 GPa to 30 GPa.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a wrist arthroplasty system and method that enable an expedient surgical procedure, maintain wrist motion, and reduce the likelihood of implant loosening. The system includes a capitate implant, a radial implant, and a resection instrument. The capitate implant includes a convex head formed to interface with a concave socket of the radial implant. The capitate implant includes a single stem formed to be secured within a patient's capitate bone. The radial implant includes lips formed to increase wrist joint motion and to help prevent dislocation of the capitate implant from the radial implant. The resection instrument may be used in combination as a measurement tool for determining the proper implant size, a guide for properly positioning the implants, and a trial tool for testing trial implant components before securing the final radial and capitate implants.

The article may exhibit a single side average light reflectance measured at the anti-reflective surface of about 8% or less over an optical wavelength regime in the range from about 400 nm to about 800 nm. The article may exhibit an average light transmission of about 90% or greater over an optical wavelength regime in the range from about 400 nm to about 800 nm.

    Abstract: A system, apparatus and method for processing observational data for training a neural network model for use by a neural network. Observational data is parsed into raw data and metadata components and then stored separately on a raw data storage system and a metadata storage system, respectively. A digital fingerprint may be generated and assigned to the raw data and the metadata, used to verify the integrity of the data. When it is desired to train a neural network model, a DETL query is generated and used to identify any raw data that may be relevant to training the neural network model. The DETL query is processed by the metadata storage system to match any metadata to search terms in the DETL which, in turn, identifies raw data stored in the raw data storage system. The identified raw data is used to train the neural network model, and a updated neural network model is produced.
