  • Patent number: 11812988
Abstract: Rotational atherectomy devices and systems can remove or reduce stenotic lesions in implanted grafts by rotating one or more abrasive elements within the graft. The abrasive elements can be attached to a distal portion of an elongate flexible drive shaft that extends from a handle assembly that includes a driver for rotating the drive shaft. In particular implementations, individual abrasive elements are attached to the drive shaft at differing radial angles in comparison to each other (e.g., configured in a helical array). The centers of mass of the abrasive elements can define a path that fully or partially spirals around the drive shaft.

  • Publication number: 20230335300
Abstract: A method, software, database and system for attribute partner identification and social network based attribute analysis are presented in which attribute profiles associated with individuals can be compared and potential partners identified. Connections can be formed within social networks based on analysis of genetic and non-genetic data. Degrees of attribute separation (genetic and non-genetic) can be utilized to analyze relationships and to identify individuals who might benefit from being connected.

  • Publication number: 20230330310
Abstract: An artificial kidney configured to automatically or semi-automatically perform priming, procedure running, purging, flushing, and procedure ending. The artificial kidney is wearable and can be used while ambulating, sitting, and lying down. The artificial kidney can be used at home as a supplement to standard intermittent hemodialysis therapy in the clinic. In an example, the artificial kidney can be configured to perform alert event detection, start a timer, and take steps to resolving the alert event. The steps can include automated steps and can include instructions to be manually performed by the user (or the patient). If the alert event is resolved within a set time, the artificial kidney can continue to perform procedure running. If the alert event is not resolved within the set time, the artificial kidney performs the procedure ending.

  • Patent number: 11778515
Abstract: A wireless communication network serves user communication devices using Internet Protocol (IP) and Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB). An IAB Mobile Termination (MT) and an IAB donor establish a wireless IAB link. The IAB MT and a Centralized Unit (CU) establish IP links over the wireless IAB link. The IP links have different QoS levels. The IAB MT exchanges data streams with the user communication devices. The data streams have different QoS requirements. The IAB MT and the CU correlate the QoS requirements of the data streams with the QoS levels of the IP links. The IAB MT and the CU exchange individual ones of the data streams over individual ones of the IP links based on the QoS correlations. The CU exchanges the data streams with a data communication network based on the QoS requirements.

  • Publication number: 20230306705
Abstract: A computer implemented method for providing feedback to a user input. The method includes obtaining data representing a scene model derived from scene data representing a scene in real space; obtaining data representing a user input identifying a first portion of the scene in real space; estimating, based on the user input data, a first position within the scene model corresponding to the first portion of the scene; determining control information for controlling a light source to direct light at or near a second position in real space corresponding to the first position within the scene model; and outputting the control information to control a light source, thereby to provide for feedback to the user input. The method may be implemented by a robot.

  • Patent number: 11759229
Abstract: Rotational atherectomy devices and systems can remove or reduce stenotic lesions in blood vessels by rotating an abrasive element within the vessel. The abrasive element can be attached to a distal portion of an elongate flexible drive shaft that extends from a handle assembly. In particular embodiments, the handle assembly includes a compressed gas driven turbine member that drives rotation of the drive shaft. The turbine member can be rotatably attached to a carriage that is longitudinally translatable in relation to a housing of the handle assembly. The handle assembly can include a latch mechanism that when actuated allows the carriage to translate to a proximal-most position. While the carriage is in the proximal-most position, an open pathway is created so that a guidewire can be slidably passed through the handle assembly and a lumen of the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 11749019
Abstract: A facial feature matching system comprises a facial feature matching engine. A first user selection of reference facial images is received, and facial features of reference faces are characterized using the facial feature recognition engine comprising a neural network with input, hidden, and output layers. The facial features are weighted. The weighted facial features are used to identify users that have facial features similar to the weighted facial features, wherein the respective reference faces include faces different than the faces of the users. Similarity indicators are generated for the identified users. The generated respective similarity indicators are used to generate a ordering of the identified users which is rendered via the user device. A first user selection of a second user in the ordered identified users is received and the first user and the second user are enabled to communicate over an electronic communication channel.
