  • Publication number: 20210362468
Abstract: The present invention relates to a laminate structure comprising an adhesive polymeric interlayer (API) that comprises discrete zones. Such discrete zones are located at the interface of the API and the glass substrate. Generally, the discrete zones comprise two sets of discrete zones, debonding and adhesive. These zones allow for a unique combination of modified API-glass debonding, laminate toughness, and laminate durability. Various spatial patterns and densities of debonding are described, as well as the resulting material properties.

  • Publication number: 20210352562
Abstract: A wireless communication relay tests data throughputs over a Fifth Generation New Radio (5GNR) network XCVR and a wireline network XCVR. The testing over the wireline network XCVR comprises a test of the data throughputs through a Local Break-Out (LBO) router or an N3 Interworking Function (N3IWF). The relay selects one of the 5GNR network XCVR and the wireline network XCVR based on the data throughput testing and indicates the selected network XCVR to a user XCVR. The user XCVR exchanges user data with the wireless UE and exchanges the user data with the selected one of the 5GNR network XCVR and the wireline network XCVR. The selected one of the 5GNR network XCVR and the wireline network XCVR exchanges the user data with one or more data communication networks.

  • Patent number: 11147582
Abstract: Rotational atherectomy devices and systems can remove or reduce stenotic lesions in implanted grafts by rotating one or more abrasive elements within the graft. The abrasive elements can be attached to a distal portion of an elongate flexible drive shaft that extends from a handle assembly that includes a driver for rotating the drive shaft. In particular implementations, individual abrasive elements are attached to the drive shaft at differing radial angles in comparison to each other (e.g., configured in a helical array). The centers of mass of the abrasive elements can define a path that fully or partially spirals around the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 11147018
Abstract: A system and method for detecting and receiving Z-Wave Beams that are transmitted over a plurality of channels is disclosed. The system includes a radio circuit, which includes a Digital Signal Arrival (DSA) circuit and a read channel. The DSA circuit is able to detect the presence of a valid signal on a particular channel, based on received signal power, detected frequency deviation, the magnitude of phase spikes and/or other characteristics. The read channel is able to decode incoming packets. Software is used to control the DSA circuit and the read channel so that, during each wake up period, the FLiRS device monitors all available channels to determine if a Z-Wave Beam is present. If a Z-Wave Beam is detected, the read channel receives the Z-Wave Beam. Otherwise, the FLiRS device returns to sleep mode.

  • Patent number: 11107587
Abstract: Computational methods are used to create cardiovascular simulations having desired hemodynamic features. Cardiovascular modeling methods produce descriptions of blood flow and pressure in the heart and vascular networks. Numerical methods optimize and solve nonlinear equations to find parameter values that result in desired hemodynamic characteristics including related flow and pressure at various locations in the cardiovascular system, movements of soft tissues, and changes for different physiological states. The modeling methods employ simplified models to approximate the behavior of more complex models with the goal of to reducing computational expense. The user describes the desired features of the final cardiovascular simulation and provides minimal input, and the system automates the search for the final patient-specific cardiovascular model.

  • Patent number: 11102699
Abstract: A wireless communication relay wirelessly serves User Equipment (UEs) with wireless data services. Relay circuitry tests data throughputs over a Fifth Generation New Radio (5GNR) network Transceiver (XCVR), Long Term Evolution (LTE) network XCVR, and wireline network XCVR. The relay circuitry selects sets of network XCVRs for the user XCVRs based on the data throughput testing. The relay circuitry indicates the selected network XCVRs to the user XCVRs. The user XCVRs wirelessly exchange user data with the wireless UEs and exchange the user data with the selected network XCVRs. The selected network XCVRs exchange the user data with one or more data communication networks.

  • Publication number: 20210187893
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a web control guide for an inflation and sealing assembly of a protective packaging formation device for inflating a web material into a chain of inflated cushions. The web control guide is positioned along a material path at a transverse spacing from a first compression element and constrains a first thickness of the material path measured normal to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the material path. The transverse spacing and constrained thickness dimension are sufficiently small to prevent transverse movement of the flexible material towards the first compression element to avoid excessive heating of the web material outside a sealing zone.

  • Publication number: 20210140299
Abstract: A drilling system and method of obtaining a flow pattern in a wellbore. The drilling system includes a device for adjusting an operational parameter of the drilling system, and a processor. The processor trains a machine learning program to identify a flow boundary in parameter space between a first flow pattern region related to a first flow pattern for a multiphase flow and a second flow pattern region related to a second flow pattern for the multiphase flow. The processor identifies the flow boundary for a flow of the multiphase flow in the wellbore and adjusts an operating parameter of the drilling system in the wellbore based on the identified flow boundary to operate the drilling system in one of the first flow pattern region and the second flow pattern region to obtain one of the first flow pattern and the second flow pattern in the wellbore.
