  • Publication number: 20220070817
Abstract: A communication management resource such as a domain proxy receives a request transmitted from a wireless base station. The wireless station generates the request to register the wireless base station for subsequent allocation of wireless channels. In response to receiving the request, the communication management resource maps an identity of the wireless base station to a geographical location in which the wireless base station resides and forwards the request and notification of the geographical location to a channel allocation resource (a.k.a., allocation management resource) that allocates use of the wireless channels in a region in which the geographical location resides.

  • Publication number: 20210404599
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for securely mounting an enclosure are described. In various embodiments a device enclosure includes a recessed back area in which a mounting latch including a generally key-shaped opening is positioned. A mounting bracket including a post having multiple dimensions is secured to a wall. The enclosure and latch is placed over the post. The enclosure is moved so that the post slides in the key-shaped opening and snaps into the first portion of the key-shaped opening. To release the latch a release tool is inserted into a slot or other opening and rotated so that the tip or tips of the release tool can pass through one or more openings in a rear wall of the enclosure and compress a portion of the latch allowing the enclosure and latch to slide on the shaft until the enclosure reaches a position where it can be removed.

  • Patent number: 11122339
Abstract: Methods and systems for an intelligent tap with dynamically configurable amplifier gain. The intelligent tap includes a filter configured to process a signal received from a service provider system via a hybrid fiber-coaxial network, an amplifier connected to the filter, the amplifier configured to apply a feedback controlled gain value to the signal to generate an output signal, where the feedback controlled gain value is based on a comparison of a target signal strength to a sampled output signal strength, and a signal strength measuring component connected to the amplifier in a feedback loop, the signal strength measuring component configured to sample the output signal, and compare a signal strength of a sampled output signal to the target signal strength to generate the feedback controlled gain value, where application of the feedback controlled gain value maintains the output signal at a constant amplitude pursuant to the target signal strength.

  • Publication number: 20210237613
Abstract: In a method for managing power storage and delivery in a hybrid vehicle, battery management program determines a battery charge state and identifies a charge variable affecting the battery charge state. The battery management program then retrieves data associated with the charge variable and identifies a preselected charge priority. Once the preselected charge priority is identified, the battery management program analyzes the retrieved data based on the identified charge priority and determines at least one charging parameter based in the analysis of the retrieved data.

  • Publication number: 20210166209
Abstract: In a method for managing compensatory transactions between vehicles, a compensation engine determines relative priorities of the first and second vehicles. The compensation engine determines compensation between the first and second vehicles based on the relative priorities of the first and second vehicles. Following the determination of compensation, the compensation engine executes a transfer of compensation between the first and second vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20210165422
Abstract: In a method for managing a vehicle priority system, a priority engine determining relative priorities of the first and second vehicles. The priority engine instructs operation of the first and second vehicles according to their relative priorities. The priority engine received payment to modify the relative priorities of the first and second vehicles and instructs operation of the first and second vehicles accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20210165423
Abstract: In a priority module, a priority engine identifies at least one vehicle within a threshold proximity of a designated vehicle. The priority engine communicates internal priority data to the at least one vehicle within the threshold proximity. The priority engine receives external priority data from the at least one vehicles. Based on the internal and external priority data, the priority engine determines priority among each vehicle within the threshold proximity. The priority engine determines at least one priority parameter based on the determined priority of the designated vehicle and subsequently sends instructions to execute the priority parameters to the designated vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10995672
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to gas turbine engine operation in which an igniter assembly is provided with an electrical energy input (e.g., an electrical waveform) that is configured to increase a likelihood of igniting a fuel-air mixture surrounding the igniter assembly. In certain embodiments, the igniter assembly is supplied with an augmented electrical waveform that may reduce a quantity of sparks generated by the igniter assembly before successful light-off (e.g., ignition) of the fuel-air mixture is achieved (e.g., as compared to a quantity of sparks generated to achieve ignition by an igniter assembly that receives an electrical energy input in the form of a conventional electrical waveform). Accordingly, the augmented electrical waveform may reduce wear (e.g., via oxidation) on electrodes of the igniter assembly, such as a primary electrode (e.g., a center electrode) and a secondary electrode (e.g., an outer shell electrode) disposed about the primary electrode.
