Abstract: The book bag for mounting on a chair is adapted for mounting to the backrest of a chair for students that don't have access to a desk or locker to store their books and schools supplies. The book bag has an upper section with a downward opening mounting pocket that is capable of engaging the top of a backrest of a chair and a lower section with at least two compartments opening upward for storing books and school supplies in an organized manner. Various pockets are attached to an exterior front face of the lower section for holding additional school supplies with a transparent plastic window frame secured to a pocket for inserting a photograph or picture.
