  • Patent number: 11479414
Abstract: Processes are provided for dynamically sorting and storing items in a warehouse without the need for presorting items and without delaying or negatively impacting the efficiency of operators in the warehouse. Items are individually scanned and placed in totes of a tote-array provided on a mobile robot. An optimized route is calculated based on the items in the tote-array, and the robot navigates to a first location on the route. When the item has been put away, a replacement item is placed in the just-emptied tote of the tote-array, and an updated route is calculated. A robot capable of navigating to predefined locations for storing items is a warehouse is provided.

  • Patent number: 11445774
Abstract: A garment includes a substantially seamless base layer made from a compressive material, an outer layer positioned outward of at least a portion of the compressive material, and seam tape coupling the outer layer to the base layer. The outer layer is configured to cover less than an entire circumference of a wearer of the garment, and the base layer extends around at least a portion of the circumference not covered by the outer layer. For example, the outer layer may not cover a wearer's lateral thigh region, minimizing the availability of non-taut material in that region that may be subject to easier grabbing or manipulation by an opponent.

  • Patent number: 11374909
Abstract: Providing security functions in an IoT device can comprise executing, by a TPM of the IoT device, a set of cryptographic functions. The set of cryptographic functions can comprise providing a secure unidirectional uplink from the IoT device to one or more communications networks. The set of cryptographic functions can also be executed by a second TPM to provide a secure unidirectional downlink from the one or more communications networks to the IoT device. The processor of the IoT device need not perform cryptographic functions and the processor of the IoT device and a memory of the IoT device can be outside of a secure boundary maintained by the first TPM and the second TPM. Cryptographic information to provide the secure unidirectional uplink and the secure unidirectional downlink can be exchanged between the first TPM and the second TPM.

  • Publication number: 20220177899
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for increasing observed editing rates in the surviving bacteria cells. The compositions and methods presented herein in combination lead to a phenomenon of “edit or die.” Although less cells survive plating and editing, a large percentage of cells that do survive are multiple editors.

  • Publication number: 20220139137
Abstract: A system providing rolling code remote device functions to provide keyless entry to multiple makes and models of cars. The system adapted to produce the radio signal type and transmitted data of an original manufacturer's keyless entry remote device system by implementing multiple modulation schema and data encoding techniques. A system for backing up and restoring or replacing OEM vehicle keys. The system stores a copy of data from an OEM key along with other information necessary to replace the OEM key in a key bank. The data collected is processed and stored, a customer can order a universal replacement from the key bank programmed with stored data to emulate prior paired OEM key.

  • Patent number: 11319542
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for increasing observed editing rates in the surviving bacteria cells. The compositions and methods presented herein in combination lead to a phenomenon of “edit or die.” Although less cells survive plating and editing, a large percentage of cells that do survive are multiple editors. In one experiment it was found that if a cell survives transformation, plating, and editing, 75% of the surviving cells are multiple editors; that is, 75% of the surviving cells were simultaneously edited with edits at two or more different locations within the bacterial genome.

  • Publication number: 20220095610
Abstract: Container system and method for freezing (and subsequently thawing) a liquid such as a drug substance, such that all containers in a set have a uniform width, hence uniform freeze-path length, in the widthwise direction and perpendicular to major walls of the containers, irrespective of the particular length, height, and volumetric capacity of the various containers in the set. This leads to uniform freezing performance and thereby reduces cryoconcentration. The system also eliminates or reduces ice-bridging, and the potential for containers rupturing during freezing and thawing operations.

  • Publication number: 20220087366
Abstract: A method for using an article of footwear while sitting in a chair capable of transitioning between at least first, second, and third states. The article of footwear includes an outsole. The outsole includes a medial wrap-up, a lateral wrap-up, and a heel wrap-up. The method includes positioning the article of footwear in a first footwear state while sitting in a chair first state. The method further includes positioning the article of footwear in a second footwear state while sitting in a chair second state. When in the second footwear state, the medial wrap-up deforms relative to the first footwear state. The method further includes positioning the article of footwear in a third footwear state while sitting in a chair third state. When in the third footwear state, the heel wrap-up deforms relative to the first footwear state.
