  • Patent number: 9814905
Abstract: Phototherapy systems comprising a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in an assembly including a reflective surface facing towards a patient and a plurality of light apertures substantially aligned with the LEDs for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps and associated circuitry are disposed so that the reflective surface is relatively smooth and seamless towards the patient. The walls have a malleable rigidity for flexible adjustability relative to the user, and the device is mounted to the user with a frame.

  • Publication number: 20170321412
Abstract: A device for detecting the presence of hydrocarbon fluid in runoff water includes an outer canister and a cartridge situated within the outer canister. The cartridge includes a pre-filter, at least one containment vessel, a diffuser/separator member situated within the containment vessel, a hydrocarbon fluid accumulator and an electronic circuit. The diffuser/separator member slows the flow of runoff water entering the containment vessel so that oil in the runoff water separates from and rises to the surface of the water where it accumulates in the hydrocarbon fluid accumulator. A sensor situated in the hydrocarbon fluid accumulator detects the accumulated oil and sends a signal to the electronic circuit which, in turn, closes a valve and prevents water from flowing through an egress opening in the outer canister.

  • Publication number: 20170303109
Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and apparatus for broadcasting a wireless emergency alert message are disclosed. For example, a method may include a processor receiving a request to broadcast a wireless emergency alert message, determining an anticipated increase in a network usage in response to broadcasting the wireless emergency alert message, determining that a capacity of the network will not be exceeded with the anticipated increase in the network usage, and broadcasting the wireless alert message in an alert area. In one example, the request comprises a type of alert, the alert area, and a message content. In one example, the wireless emergency alert message that is broadcast includes the message content in a format that deviates from a default format when it is determined that the capacity of the network will not be exceeded with the anticipated increase in the network usage.

  • Patent number: 9789333
Abstract: Phototherapy systems comprising a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in an assembly comprising a first wall to which the lamps are affixed thereto and a second wall, closer to the patient, spaced from the first wall wherein the lamps are recessed relative thereto. The second wall comprises a reflective surface facing towards a patient and a plurality of light apertures substantially aligned with the LEDs on the first wall for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps and associated circuitry are disposed between the first and second wall so that the reflective surface is relatively smooth and seamless towards the patient. The walls may include an eye slot. The device is mounted to the user with a frame comprising an eyeglass frame or goggles including lenses for shielding the user's eyes from lamp radiation.

  • Publication number: 20170118779
Abstract: Cell site congestion may result in dropped calls, time-outs on data sessions, web access problems, or the like. A network congestion status may be used to minimize network congestion. In an example embodiment, messages which are distributed via a network may be formatted based on the network's congestions status and a device's connection mechanism. Further, a network access may be based on the network's congestion status and on a device's connection mechanism.
