  • Publication number: 20240082557
Abstract: A hemostasis valve includes a housing having a central bore therethrough, a compression tube positioned within the central bore, a soft annular elastomeric seal positioned within the central bore distal to the compression tube, and at least one actuator coupled to the housing. Movement of the actuator relative to the housing may move the compression tube towards or away from the annular elastomeric seal to increase adjust the inner diameter of the annular elastic seal. The large-bore hemostatic valves described herein may be particularly well suited for use with controllably adjusting the seal pressure around a medical device (e.g., catheter) inserted through the valve and may maintain a tight seal at high pressure and with large diameter medical devices.

  • Patent number: 11658888
Abstract: A network timing view provides enhanced visualization for synch timing in support of mobile (4G/5G deployments) and others requiring sync. It allows network managers to view relevant synch data both textually and graphically displayed on the network map nodes and links in a unified view. The user is able to select the appropriate filter on the network map to show the 1588/SyncE connectivity and relevant nodes that are participating in delivering timing. It allows a user to trace the timing path from any timing device upstream to the clock source. It also allows the user to interactively discover and navigate downstream timing paths from any timing device, similar to exploring a tree hierarchy. The timing topology and path data provided allows a user to investigate the timing network for troubleshooting purposes such as timing alarms and events, sync problems, clock quality levels and clock states.

  • Publication number: 20210131952
Abstract: Provided are methods, devices, and systems for identifying the concentration of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (?-9 THC) in a given sample. The system allows for in situ formation of a chromophore eliminating the use of chloroform, wherein said chromophore absorbance spectra is measured using a spectroscopy method within a light wavelength range. The system allows for calculating the concentration of ?-9 THC using the linear relationship between the ?-9 THC level and the intensity of the color change in the present tester. Said linear relationship is obtained because the tester of the present disclosure allows the chromophore formation reaction go to completion.

  • Publication number: 20120057254
Abstract: A beam director (360) for directing a beam (356, 358) comprises a director base (464), a reflective element (462), a base pivot (474A), an element pivot (470), and a first element fastener (468A). The director base (464) is positioned adjacent to a mounting base (226). A first interface between the director base (464) and the mounting base (226) is in a first interface plane that is orthogonal to a first axis. The base pivot (474A) provides a base pivot axis for selectively rotating the director base (464) and the reflective element (462) relative to the mounting base (226) about the first axis. The element pivot (470) guides the rotation of the reflective element (462) relative to the director base (464) about a second axis that is orthogonal to the first axis. The first element fastener (468A) is selectively movable between a locked position and an unlocked position to selectively inhibit rotation of the reflective element (462) relative to the director base (464) about the second axis.

  • Publication number: 20070112536
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, methods, and computer program products relate to measuring the combined accuracy of a gas meter and a volume corrector as a system. The measurement is performed with a transfer prover, and may be performed automatically on either integrated or non-integrated volume correctors and meters. In one embodiment, a test interface provides a convenient connection with controllable data switches for routing information between the meter/volume corrector, the transfer prover, and a processing device. Software running on the processing device can automatically configure the parameters for performing a combined accuracy test by downloading parameters from the meter/corrector and transfer prover via the test interface. Upon user selection of the test type, and optionally flow rates, for running the test, the software may configure data switches on the test interface to automatically perform the selected combined accuracy test.

  • Publication number: 20060027134
Abstract: Braking and motion-arrest apparatus for braking the arrival of a zipline cable rider at a landing platform and arresting the rider's motion to retain the rider at the platform. A frame is mounted on the cable to allow longitudinal rolling movement of the frame along the cable. A self-closing one-way latch is provided at the forward end of the frame. The latch includes a pair of capture plates which are normally inwardly biased toward one another, on opposite sides of the cable. The rider is tethered to a pulley block which rolls along the cable and collides with the latch. The collision force drives the plates laterally away from the cable, allowing the pulley block to roll through the latch. After the pulley block rolls past the latch, the plates' normal biasing closes the latch, preventing the pulley block from rolling back through the latch.
