The level shifter adjusts a voltage level of the first detecting signal to generate a second detecting signal.

The terminating agent includes a carbohydrate, which is a solid substantially insoluble in a solvent and is used for terminating an anionic polymerization of a polymer. Another aspect of the method includes steps which provide an initiator for initiating an anionic polymerization, adding a terminating agent for terminating the anionic polymerization and forming a complex, wherein the terminating agent is a carbohydrate, and an alkali metal ion is removed by a solid-liquid separation process.

The connector is for connecting with a collar; the handle is for being held; and the rope connecting with the connector and the handle by two ends respectively. The pet leash is characterized in that the rope includes a plurality of strands forming a core of the rope and a sheath wrapping and binding up the said core, with the strands being of an elastic material. Therefore, the present invention can avoid a widen crack or sudden snap derived from an initially formed crack while providing a high elasticity.

Abstract: A shock absorber includes a partitioning board fixed in a chamber of a cylinder to separate the chamber into first and second compartments receiving a damping fluid. The partitioning board includes a first through-hole in communication with the first and second compartments. A buffering disc is mounted in the chamber and forms a bottom end of the second compartment. A rod is slidably received in the chamber and slideably extends through the first through-hole. A damping valve is securely mounted around the rod and is slideably received in the first compartment. The rod has downwardly decreasing cross sections. A gap is formed between an inner periphery of the first through-hole and an outer periphery of the rod. When the rod moves downward, an area of the gap decreases gradually to gradually increase resistance to the damping fluid flowing from the first compartment into the second compartment via the first through-hole.
