    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for buffering and obtaining resources as well as a resource buffering system are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining an access popularity value of a resource from a database at intervals of a first preset time, and obtaining load values of cache servers from the database if determining that the access popularity value reaches a preset first threshold; and determining a duplication cache server for duplicating the resource according to the access popularity value and the load values, and notifying the duplication cache server to duplicate the resource from a cache server that stores the resource and buffer the resource. The method overcome the problems in the prior, namely, the same resource is buffered in only one cache server and the relatively idle cache servers are unable to share loads with busy cache servers. The method improves extensibility and working efficiency of the buffering system.

A UE first establishes an RRC connection in a source cell in a mobile communication network. Later on, the UE detects a failure event and starts an RRC reestablishment procedure in a target cell to restore the RRC connection. In a first novel aspect, a fast NAS recovery process is applied to reduce the outage time in the target cell. In a second novel aspect, context fetching is used to reduce the outage time in the target cell. In a third novel aspect, a loss-less reestablishment procedure is proposed to reduce data loss during the connection recovery.

    Abstract: In disclosed examples, a satellite receiver dish (SRD) is peak aligned with a satellite in a geostationary orbit through use of guidance provided by a smartphone or tablet device fixedly attached to the SRD. A camera within the smartphone attached to the SRD can capture an image of a celestial object such as the sun. Celestial object data can be used to determine a predicted location of the sun at the time the image is captured. The predicted location of the sun can be used to determine an expected capture location of the sun within the captured image if the SRD was peak aligned with the satellite. A difference between the actual capture location of the sun and expected capture location of the sun within the capture image can be translated into at least one alignment adjustment for adjusting an azimuth position or an elevation position of the SRD.
