    Abstract: The present invention discloses a simulation device for a preferential flow of a fissured-porous dual-permeability media and an experimental method, and belongs to the technical field of geological engineering. The simulation device comprises a support. The support is detachably connected with a transparent container. The interior of the transparent container is filled with a fissured-porous dual-permeability media experimental model. The top of the transparent container is open. A spraying device is arranged above the transparent container. Liquid rapid outflow ports are formed in the bottom of the transparent container and are connected with a liquid collection device. The present invention further discloses an experimental method of the simulation device and a manufacturing method of the fissured-porous dual-permeability media experimental model. The simulation device of the present invention can highlight and enhance the preferential flow experiment effect.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for separating mud from drill cuttings are disclosed. The method includes collecting drill cuttings from a shale shaker or a wellhead, placing the drill cuttings in a fluid that matches the fluid in the drilling mud, and filtering the drill cuttings through a sieve having a first mesh size. The method further includes placing the filtered drill cuttings in a sieve basket having a second mesh size, wherein the second mesh size is smaller than the first mesh size, placing the sieve basket in a vessel, and adding the fluid to completely submerge the drill cuttings in the fluid. The method also includes placing the vessel including the sieve basket, the drill cuttings, and the fluid in a sonicator-shaker, and simultaneously sonicating and shaking the vessel to separate the drill cuttings from contaminants thereon.

By adopting the technical solutions according to the embodiments of the present application, a low air pressure sensor can be embedded in an air tightness detector suitable for tests under high pressure and the low air pressure sensor can be effectively protected in a high pressure environment, so that leakage tests under different inflation pressures can be implemented by one instrument.

The specific range of electrical conductivity results in electromagnetic fields either generated by the microelectronic die or generated by components external to the microelectronic package scattering within the electromagnetic interference shield layer and attenuating. Thus, the electromagnetic interference shield layer can prevent electromagnetic field interference without the need to be grounded.

    Abstract: A flexible protective cover for attaching to a display panel, the flexible protective cover includes at least two hard coating layers and a transparent layer disposed between two adjacent hard coating layers. Since a modulus of the hard coating layers is greater than a modulus of the transparent layer, a hardness of the flexible protective cover can be significantly increased. It has been verified by simulation calculation that the flexible protective cover of the present disclosure has a hardness increase of 8% while maintaining same flexibility and bending resistance, as compared with the conventional flexible cover.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are integrated preparation and detection devices for studying biomass-burning aerosols, where the devices include a micro-fluidized bed reactor (MFBR), a transmission line, and an on-line detection unit that are connected in sequence. The MFBR may include a pyrolysis reactor and a pyrolysis furnace; the pyrolysis reactor may include a thermocouple, an introduction tube, and quartz sands; the on-line detection unit may be an on-line photoionization mass spectrometer; and the photoionization mass spectrometer may include a laser desorption system, a laser ionizer and a light energy ionizer. Devices of the present disclosure are beneficial to retain the original state of aerosol particles, and the fixed MFBR can realize rapid pyrolysis of a biomass due to its high and stable heat conduction efficiency, which is beneficial to studying the formation mechanism of aerosol particles.

    Abstract: A method for forming a glass sheet includes forming a glass ribbon. A robot arm is operated to move an end effector through a preprogrammed cycle. The cycle includes engaging a segment of the glass ribbon with the end effector, separating the engaged segment from the glass ribbon to generate a glass sheet, and moving the glass sheet away from the glass ribbon. The preprogrammed cycle designates predetermined positions of the end effector at predetermined points in time. While the robot arm is operating through the preprogrammed cycle, a parameter indicative of a force being exerted on the glass ribbon by the end effector is sensed. A position of the end effector is altered to differ from the predetermined position at the corresponding point in time when the sensed parameter deviates from a target value. An excessive force applied to the glass ribbon can be reduced in real-time.

Also disclosed herein are methods of treating a tumor in a subject by detecting the tumor via ultrasound with the aid of a nanoparticle, and then administering to the subject an anti-cancer treatment based on the location of the tumor revealed by the ultrasound image.
