    Abstract: The present invention is designed so that, in a radio communication system in which a plurality of component carriers (CCs) are used in each small cell within a macro cell, the load of measurements, the amount of information to report and so on in user terminals are reduced. The macro base station of the present invention transmits, to a user terminal, measurement indication information that includes a measurement indication for the received power of a measurement signal of a specific CC in each small cell, and receives, from the user terminal, a measurement report that includes the received power of the measurement signal of the specific CC. Also, the macro base station calculates the received quality of the measurement signals of the plurality of CCs based on the received power of the measurement signal of the specific CC.

    Abstract: The present invention is a variable-ratio line gear mechanism. The mechanism forms a transmission pair consisting of a driving line gear and a driven line gear, of which axes intersect at an arbitrary angle. Transmission is generated by point contact meshing movement of line teeth between the driving line gear and the driven line gear. A contact curve of the line tooth is designed in accordance with space conjugate curve meshing theory, and the designing equation is divided into an equal transmission ratio part and a variable transmission ratio part. The equal transmission ratio part provides a uniform transmission, and the variable transmission ratio part makes the transmission ratio smoothly transit. The line gear mechanism is able to provide periodically transmission with variable transmission ratio, to provide a plurality of transmission ratios during a movement period of the driven line gear, and to enable smooth transitions between respective transmission ratios in accordance with movement rules.

    Abstract: Herein methods and systems for determining matrix or grain density of a subsurface formation are described. This includes measuring in-air mass of a fluid-saturated sample of the subsurface formation, wherein the in-air mass comprises mass of matrix or grains of the sample, mass of a fluid surrounding the sample, and mass of the fluid inside the sample. The volume of the fluid inside the sample, V?, and volume of the fluid surrounding the sample, Vsur, are determined using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The fluid-saturated sample can then be submerged in a predetermined volume of a weighing fluid and mass of the fluid-saturated sample without the surrounding fluid in the weighing fluid, mf is measured. Using the measured and determined values one can determine the volume of the sample without the surrounding fluid, Vc, the bulk density of the fluid-saturated sample without the surrounding fluid, ?b, the volume of the matrix, Vm, and the matrix or grain density of the subsurface formation, ?m.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a sea fog monitoring method based on multi-source satellite remote sensing data. A fog and low cloud mixed region is preliminarily identified using visible light and infrared satellite remote sensing data. A temperature and humidity vertically-layered structure in the fog and low cloud mixed region is obtained using satellite microwave remote sensing data. Due to different heights of fog and low cloud high-humidity regions, the heights of the high-humidity regions can be extracted by a humidity layered structure, so that fog and low clouds are distinguished, and the monitoring accuracy of fog is effectively improved.
