    Abstract: A method for driving a liquid crystal display reducing IC area cost of a source driver IC layout is provided, in which a plurality of common voltage electrodes are configured in the display panel. The method includes the following steps of applying a first voltage to at least one of the common voltage electrodes in a first frame period and applying a second voltage to the at least one of the common voltage electrodes in a second frame period. The first and second voltage are different. The method is applicable to a source driver structure of the display panel, and by employing the method, a voltage level of a source driving signal of the source driver is controlled to be positive and only positive-voltage domain circuit is required in the layout configuration. As a result, the invention is effective in reducing IC area cost and avoiding redundant area waste.

    Abstract: A shadow ring for a processing chamber, such as a semiconductor processing chamber, is an annular member including a body with a radially inwardly projecting lip. The shadow ring includes a feature that mitigates heat transfer between the lip and the rest of the body. In one example, the feature includes a plurality of apertures, each aperture extending from an upper opening at an upper surface of the shadow ring to a corresponding lower opening at a lower surface of the shadow ring. A neck between adjacent apertures creates a bottleneck that hinders conductive heat transfer.

    Abstract: A method for retrieving footprint images is provided, comprising: pre-training models; cleaning footprint data and conducting expansion pre-processing by using the pre-trained models, dividing the footprint data into multiple data sets; adjusting full connection layers and classification layers of the models; training the models again by using the data sets through the parameters of the pre-trained models; saving the models trained twice, removing the classification layer, executing a feature extraction for images in an image library and a retrieval library to form a feature index library; connecting the features extracted by three models to form fused features, establishing a fused feature vector index library; extracting the features of the images in the image library to be retrieved in advance, and establishing a feature vector library; calculating distances in the retrieval library and the image library when a single footprint image is inputted, thereby outputting the image with the highest similarity.
