  • Patent number: 8010169
Abstract: A handheld electronic device including a first body, a second body, a flexible electrical connecting means and a cover is provided. The second body is slidely coupled to the first body. The flexible electrical connecting means is electrically connected between the first body and the second body and the cover is slidely coupled to the second body. The cover is located at a first position on the second body when the first body and the second body are in a stacked state. The cover shields the flexible electrical connecting means exposed due to the movement of the second body against the first body when the first body and the second body are in a spread state. Therefore, reliability and appearance of the handheld electronic device can be improved. In addition, available area on the handheld electronic device in the spread state can be increased, to provide higher design flexibility.

  • Publication number: 20110196265
Abstract: A frequency modulated ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus for bone fractures and a method for generating frequency modulated ultrasonic waves are revealed. The frequency modulated ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus includes a control interface, a control unit, a waveform generator circuit and a transducer. The control interface is used to set a plurality of parameters. The control unit coupled to the control interface generates a control signal according to those parameters. The waveform generator circuit is coupled to the control unit and is generating a waveform signal according to the control signal. The transducer converts the waveform signal and produces an ultrasonic wave. The present invention provides different parameters for modulating a frequency of ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic waves with different frequencies are used to treat bone fractures during the bone healing process of living animals. Thus the fracture healing is speeded up and the recovery time is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20110125703
Abstract: A method and a system for recognizing power consumption behaviors of electric appliances in a loop are provided. When a variation value of a power consumption information of the loop exceeds a threshold, a current value of the power consumption information is served as a main loop factor value of the loop, and a similar combinative factor value close to the main loop factor value is looked up in a behavior-factor mapping table. If the similar combinative factor value is not found, the main loop factor value corresponding to a new power consumption behavior is obtained according to the variation value of the power consumption information to reconstruct the behavior-factor mapping table. After obtaining the similar combinative factor value from the behavior-factor mapping table, a current electric appliance power consumption behavior of the loop is determined according to a power consumption behavior combination corresponding to the similar combinative factor value.

  • Patent number: 7919959
Abstract: A signal readout circuit comprises a first amplifier, a second amplifier and first to fourth transistors. The signal readout circuit has a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The signal readout circuit applied in a wide current-sensing range of amperometric chemical sensing. The readout circuit may be applied in electrochemical sensing such as glucose, so as to read out a current signal of an amperometric sensor. Through a design of low input impedance, sensing signals in a wide current range can be sensed in the readout circuit. Also, a current mirror structure is used to copy the input current to an output current, such that an output signal range of the output signals of the current circuit is not limited by a supplied voltage.
