The method includes: providing a storage unit for storing a connection date when an exterior storage device is connected to a file processing device; retrieving a last connection date of the exterior storage device; selecting the exterior storage device for files or file folders whose date information is later than the last connection date; and copying and saving the selected files or file folder to the file processing device.

Abstract: A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a power source, a power management unit, a display panel, a backlight unit, a touch sensing unit and a processing unit. The display panel includes a reflective structure. The power management unit is used to manage the power supply from the power source to the DPF. The touch sensing unit is used to produce a touch signal when detecting the DPF is touched by a user. The processing unit receives the touch signal, and controls the management unit to discontinue the power from the power source to the backlight unit, therefore display panel reflects images via the reflective structure.

Abstract: A method with quick response time applied to the electronic apparatus is provided. The method includes: providing a storage configured for storing a plurality of images; providing a cache memory configured for temporarily storing decoded images; invoking the images that are previously to and next to the currently displayed image from the storage, decoding the invoked images, and storing the decoded images in the cache memory; receiving an instruction from user input; determining whether the instruction is for displaying a previous image or a next image; and invoking the decoded image of the image from the cache memory and displaying the selected image. The media player comprises a vibration switch that changes its state between an electrically open state and an electrically closed state during the media player is shaken. The media player also comprises a storage unit, a motion state determining unit, a media file determining unit, and a processing unit. The storage unit stores a plurality of media files and a table that defines relationships between shaking levels and the sampling rates of the at least one group of media files. The motion state determining unit determines a duration of the shaking of the media player and the times of state changing of the vibration switch according to signals from the vibration switch and determines a shaking level according to the duration of the shaking of the media player and the times of state changing of the vibration switch.

The detection unit detects the connection of the expansion memory to the memory expansion interface, and the memory management unit determines whether the expansion memory has been previously configured to expand the internal memory, and if not, the memory management unit associates the expansion memory with the internal memory to expand the internal memory.
