  • Patent number: 9570797
Abstract: A thin flat panel style digital television antenna has a radiation layer, a front insulation layer, a rear insulation layer and a connection cable. The radiation layer has a triangular hollow area and an opening formed in one edge thereof to communicate with one angle of the hollow area. The front insulation layer and the rear insulation layer are respectively overlapped on a front surface and a rear surface of the radiation layer to protect and electrically insulate the radiation layer. The radiation layer further has multiple connection holes adjacent to the opening thereof for multiple connection terminals of the connection cable to be respectively connected thereto. Given the foregoing structure, the digital television antenna has a wide frequency band, is thin and lightweight, is cost-effective in production, and is good for mounting and storage.

  • Publication number: 20130326560
Abstract: A digital set top box with a composite channel table has a CPU connected to a signal input unit, a video/audio output unit and a memory unit, wherein the signal input unit has a plurality of media connecting ports. The composite channel table is programmed in the CPU and divided into a default channel section and a user-defined channel section with one or more channels. The default channel section and the user-defined channel section correspond to different media connecting ports. After the media information of each channel in the user-defined channel section has been recorded, a user selects one of the media connecting ports by designating the channel number through a remote control to display media data of the selected media connecting port on a TV.

  • Publication number: 20120112984
Abstract: A USB connector device for an antenna has a first cable, a receiver, a second cable and a USB connector. The first cable has an end connected to the receiver. The second cable has two ends respectively connected to the receiver and the USB connector. Because the receiver and the USB connector are combined in a series-connection way, the series-connection design can compact the structure of the USB connector device for an antenna in accordance with the present invention and reduce redundant cables, and it occupies a single one USB slot of the computer only. The USB connector device is very useful and convenient in use.

  • Patent number: 7538742
Abstract: A collapsible interior antenna has a main antenna, two wing antenna assemblies and a secondary antenna. The main antenna is rectangular and has two opposite connecting edges. The wing antenna assemblies are pivotally mounted respectively on the connecting edges and connected transmittably to the main antenna. The secondary antenna is a telescopic antenna, receives signals having a different frequency band to the main antenna and is electrically mounted on the main antenna. A person can minimize a footprint of the collapsible interior antenna by retracting the secondary antenna and folding the wing antenna assemblies toward the main antenna. When in use, the wing antenna assemblies can be unfolded to receive signals from different directions.

  • Patent number: 7193582
Abstract: A digital receiving antenna device is connected to a digital television through a coaxial cable and has a casing, a flat antenna, a coaxial cable connector and a coaxial transmission line. The flat antenna is mounted in the casing and connected electronically to the coaxial cable through the coaxial transmission line. Since the coaxial transmission line has a fixed capacitance without regard to the distance between the feed point and the coaxial cable connector, a fixed capacitor is connected between the flat antenna and the coaxial cable connector. Therefore, the coaxial transmission line can be used as a transmission line for different size flat antennas, and each coaxial transmission line will have the same impedance. These different size digital receiving antenna devices can use the same antenna signal processing circuit and still have an impedance match between the flat antenna and the antenna signal processing circuit.
